In the finale, fans will see more about Christine and Kody’s split. TLC fans speculate that as he’s getting older now, maybe Kody Brown can’t actually keep four wives happy between the sheets.

Meri Brown and Kody stopped with the hanky-panky years ago, by their own admission. In previous seasons, TLC fans often saw them going for therapy, and in the last season, they seemed to give up on ever making their marriage work again. While Janelle doesn’t really talk about planting the parsnip, fans suspect she probably doesn’t demand it. Actually, she frequently described her spiritual husband as a “friend.” So, possibly, there’s no pressure there for too much whoopee. And yes, this is no facetious D-List thought, but fans ponder the reality of the fact that Kody grows older and might struggle to keep all his wives happy in the bedroom.

One Sister Wives fan, @sisjoyg, raised the thought that four wives might be too many. That came in the comments section of the latest teaser for Part 3 of the Tell-All. She said in part, “The bottom line is Kody can not be a Husband for four Wives, He is older.” While the fan said a lot of other things about his marriages, it is sufficient to stop and ponder the first sentence. Kody Brown is 53 years old. So, how often does the average couple in that age group enjoy intimacy?

Of course, everyone is different, but the Sister Wives patriarch might, in his fifties, indulge in some bedroom romance 47 times a year with one partner. That’s according to the Kinsey Institute’s Report. Well, if Kody were to try that with all four wives, he might find it heavy going. 188 times a year is even above the average of 112 times per year in the 18-29 age group.
