Janet Caperna Quits Social Media Over Online Abuse Leaves The US?

The Valley star Janet Caperna ditched the spotlight after becoming the target of online hate. The Bravo newcomer, who joined the cast in Season 1,deleted her social media accounts following backlash and threats from viewers and left the USA.

Getting Away From Scary Threats

According to The Daily Mail, Janet received “death threats” and was repeatedly slammed online after her on-screen behavior caused bad reactions. The outlet reported that she locked her accounts in June, then deactivated her Instagram entirely by early July.

The outlet wrote, “It got so bad, she not only deleted her Instagram but even had a close friend publicly ask fans to stop attacking her.” Now, she left the country and went to Switzerland.

Fans React With Skepticism

When the news arrived on Reddit, Bravo fans decided that the story sounded  a bit far-fetched. One skeptic wrote, “So, she and her family went on holiday.”

Here are more reactions of a similar nature:

• I don’t think the online harassment is OK, but I don’t believe for a bloody second that she had to “flee” to protect herself. This is another stunt.
• She never said she left because of the threats. That’s just a headline. She talked about the threats on her podcast which aired while they are on vacation. The two are not connected.
• at no point does she claim that she had to leave the country to protect herself, it’s just whoever wrote the headline trying to make it sound that way because they know it will rile people up.
• I’m going to assume this is preemptive for whatever she does on the finale, because what in the world has she done that would inspire someone to go out of their way to message her as if she’s one of Sean Comb’s jurors? She’s just been annoying.

Not The First Person To Face Hate

The Bravo series, a Vanderpump Rules spinoff, is no stranger to drama. Cast members like Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright already know what it’s like to be put under a microscope. Taylor recently celebrated 100 days sober, a milestone that came after a cocaine confession.

Cartwright, meanwhile, was roasted on social media over her relationship struggles with Jax. Both of them get a lot of hate.  Recently, she claimed that Jax got drunk and hooked up with other women.

Meanwhile, critics noted that she also took alcohol and cocaine and never took any accountability. And caught in the middle of the mess is their gorgeous son, Cruz. Plus, she was the one who filed for a divorce.
