Savannah Chrisley – Shares ‘Huge News’
Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley just received new hope for freedom after receiving a combined 19-year prison sentence. And their daughter Savannah Chrisley revealed via People her “huge news,” adding, “I am freaking out!”
However, the 26-year-old Chrisley Knows Best alum admitted that she still feels sad about Thanksgiving without Todd and Julie. And Savannah shared, “As you know, we are spending Thanksgiving a little different this year. Because I wasn’t going to fake it,” she added.
And the reality TV star revealed, “I wasn’t going to do the traditional Thanksgiving we’re always used to. But I got a call this morning and the appeals court has granted our oral arguments. So, I literally was sobbing.”
Savannah Chrisley – Feels ‘One Step Closer’ To Parents Coming Home
And the Chrisley Knows Best alum shared her belief that the news means getting “one step closer to getting mom and dad home. The kids are freaking out. I’m freaking out. I got to explain it to Chloe,” added Savannah.
And she called it “just amazing.” As a result of the news, the Chrisley Knows Best alum shared that oral arguments will begin the week of March 25, 2024. And Savannah also revealed the significance.
“Only about 6 percent of cases that are submitted for oral arguments get accepted. So this is huge news,” she pointed out. “We get to go and argue why mom and dad should be home,” she added. “So, God is good. Thanksgiving win!”
And Savannah explained that an “oral argument in an appellate court represents a critical moment in every case. The briefs are written, and the panel may already be leaning towards a decision. Oral argument, therefore, is an opportunity to cement the panel’s decision in your favor, or perhaps your final chance to save your case!!”
Chase Chrisley – Reacts To Good News
And Savannah made an all-capital-letters vow on social media. “I WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING FOR YOU MAMA AND DADDY!” she wrote. As a result, her older brother Chase Chrisley responded, “God is good!!!”
Todd, 54, and Julie, 50, began their prison sentences in January for fraud convictions. However, their attorney Jay Surgent of Weiner Law Group LLP shared that they “argued very vigorously that their constitutional rights have been violated.” And he claimed that Todd and Julie “basically were not given a fair hearing. It’s all in black and white, actually.”
But in the interim, Savannah has taken on the role of caring for Grayson, 17, and Chloe, 10. And she also has battled for the return of Todd and Julie. But she admitted the strain, calling it “quite the journey.”

I feel that they should be released. They did wrong, there’s no doubt about it, but I feel their sentence was way to harsh, and they could have been punished other ways. Their are so many more hardened criminals that could use their cells. The jails are overcrowded as it is, and from what I read they’ve been model prisoners.
