The Resentencing Requests By Julie Chrisley

First, after the appeal circuit in the 11th circuit vacated her sentence, fans were keen to hear if she would get a reduced sentence. Well, as time goes by, it seems that might be a remote possibility, Apparently, as the judge could have given her a longer sentence, prosecutors now want the Chrisley Knows Best alum to be sentenced to the longest possible time.

Julie Chrisley didn’t want to appear in court for her resentencing. So, her legal team requested that she attend by Zoom. Apparently, it’s not unheard of, and the prison in Kentucky has the facilities to do so. However, the judge turned down her request. Next up, she appealed to the judge to appear in civilian clothing. In new filings, the news about a surprising skill emerged.

The Surprising Skill Learned In Prison

Chrisley Knows Best fans know that the former USA Network star attended some courses in prison. And, she also taught some subjects. That was all part of the program to help inmates adapt to life after their release. Additionally, it counted towards her getting some time knocked off her sentence. All of that arrived when her legal team submitted papers to the court.

Gazette Extra reported that the legal team hopes that Julie Chrisley will not get more than five years. The outlet wrote:

Chrisley has asked the trial court to impose a new sentence of no more than five years. Her attorneys said in a Sept. 20 filing that she had been “a model inmate” during her time in a Kentucky prison, where she has received a license to operate a forklift and more than 40 certificates for completing various programs.

Fans React To Julie Being A Forklift Driver

Don’t knock it people, a forklift license isn’t such a bad job. After all, it’s not repetitive on the hands like some factory jobs are. It doesn’t require a lot of standing on your feet all day. And, the pay’s better than filling boxes or stacking packages on pallets, Still, it’s hard for fans to imagine Julie Chrisley driving around on one.

  • Well at least she won’t hurt her back when she kicks Todd to the curb. She can use the forklift !!
