Kate Gosselin Celebrates Sextuplets 21st With Four Of Them

Kate Gosselin, formerly on TLC’s Jon and Kate Plus 8, celebrated her sextuplets turning 21 years old recently. Her photos on social media seemed to suggest that she only celebrated the big day with four of them: Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel.

The 21st Birthday Post

On May 10, 2004, Kate and Jon Gosselin welcomed their six newborns into their family of four. At the time, they were already raising the twins, Mady and Cara. The TLC show shot their family into fame, but also revealed a lot of toxicity between the couple. Eventually, Jon left, and later, two sextuplets, Collin and Hannah, went to live with their dad. 

Collin and Hannah were not named on Instagram. But, she didn’t mention the names of her other kids, either. However, her caption seemed inclusive of them. The former nurse said, “And just like that, they turned 21! Happy Birthday to my 6!”

Followers React In The Comments

As Collin Goisselin accused his mom of being abusive when she sent him to an institution, many fans were divided over the photos. For years, they have been either Team Kate or Team Jon. So, there was a mix of well-wishers and those who slammed the former reality TV star. 

Here are a few nice comments in Kate Gosselin’s post:

• Omg I remember Alexis being tiny and obsessed with alligators now look at her y’all will forever be my favorite reality tv family ❤️.
• I truly loved watching them grow up on the show ❤️ happy they are healthy and happy!
• I was like 21 myself when the show came out… I’m now 37 & married lol. Hard to friggen believe… I feel ancient lol. HAPPY 21st Birthday.

Other Birthday Comments

In fairness to Kate Gosselin, she at least posted about the sextuplets on their birthday. Unless it was a story that disappeared, it doesn’t seem that Jon posted anything. His Instagram is all about his new woman, Stephani Lebo, these days. Collin didn’t post anything either. 

That didn’t stop some people from slamming Kate, though. One of them wrote, “Colin has spoken out about the abuse he faced at her hand and how his other siblings were turned against him. He was very happy his dad got him out…”

Another one opined, “How unkind to your other two sextuplets for you to post this. Don’t do this to them. They don’t deserve it.” 

Here’s another angry retort: “To[o] bad you can’t co parent with Jon, and you all could be celebrating.”
