Vanderpump Rules news and updates reveal Tom Sandoval starring in a Lifetime movie. Sandoval became infamous last year for cheating on his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix, with their Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss.
And Sandoval’s new movie in some ways parallels the scandal that became known as “Scandoval.” Get all the details below, including what the Vanderpump Rules star just shared about season 11.
Vanderpump Rules Spoilers – Sandoval Becomes Movie Star
Tom Sandoval became one of the breakout stars on the most recent season of Vanderpump Rules. But not in a good way. And both his co-stars and viewers slammed him for cheating on his girlfriend Ariana Madix with her supposed best friend Raquel Leviss. However, Ariana turned her life around, including a role in a Lifetime movie.
And now Lifetime has chosen Sandoval for a movie as well. His film will air a week after the Vanderpump Rules season 11 premiere, per the Hollywood Reporter. And just as with the scandal known as “Scandoval,” the film focuses on a relationship troubled with deception.
The Lifetime Movie Network has unveiled its original films for the first three months of 2024. And the list includes Sandoval’s movie, Tall, Dark and Dangerous. The thriller will debut Feb. 8., just as Vanderpump Rules viewers start becoming invested in the follow-up to Tom cheating on Ariana.
Vanderpump Rules Spoilers – Tom Sandoval Complains
Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules will premiere on January 30. And Tom has complained that he struggled throughout filming. For instance, after getting caught cheating on Ariana, Sandoval felt ostracized by his co-stars. As a result, he described it as an “isolating and hard” season.
But it might have come as a relief to play a fictional character in a movie featuring relationship deceit (sound familiar, Vanderpump Rules fans?). Lifetime chose a Valentine Day theme for its film Tall, Dark And Dangerous. And it follows Alice (Jamie Bernadette) discovering that a supposedly perfect guy who she met on a dating app named Chris (Matthew Pohlkamp) actually isn’t who he seems. Instead, Chris stole the identity of his former roommate (Tom Sandoval).
Others in the cast of Tall, Dark And Dangerous include Michael Paré, Tracy Nelson, Eric Roberts and Jackée Harry. And the film follows Ariana’s lead role with Meagan Good and Roger Cross in Buying Back My Daughter, which appeared on Lifetime in October.
In addition to Vanderpump Rules, Sandoval recently competed on The Masked Singer and the second season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. However, Tom has tried out his acting skills, such as Lifetime movie’s The Wrong Real Estate Agent in 2021 and Dying For A Baby in 2019.
Lifetime also has planned other new films for 2024. For instance, The Wrong Life Coach will air on January 11. And it stars Harry, Paré, Vivica A. Fox and Morgan Bradley.
