Vanderpump Rules: Tom Sandoval Sparks Backlash For Posing With Tiger

Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval spent last year as the reality TV show’s villain. And his co-stars as well as viewers slammed Sandoval for cheating on his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix.

But the secret affair, which became known as “Scandoval,” sparked even more of a backlash because Sandoval cheated with Raquel Leviss, who had touted herself as Ariana’s best friend before getting caught in the scandal. 

And now Tom has done it again. This time, Sandoval has sparked a backlash for sharing pics in which he posed with captive tigers. Get all the details below.

Tom Sandoval recently traveled in Thailand. And the Vanderpump Rules star shared photos in which he posed with tigers from his travels. However, Sandoval’s followers as well as several Vanderpump Rules cast members slammed him via People.

For instance, Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent criticized Tom for sharing his clips in which he got close to captive tigers. And co-star James Kennedy did as well.

The videos showed Sandoval, 40, outside as two employees of the zoo put a large tiger onto his shoulders. And the clip showed a staff member forcing the tiger in place on Tom for the photos. Vanderpump Rules followers expressed disapproval of what some thought looked like cruelty to animals.

Vanderpump Rules Spoilers – James Kennedy Slams Sandoval

And the clip seemed to show zoo employees manipulating the tigers to pose for pictures. Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy shared, “I would never go to a place like this. Let them all run free !!”

And in the comment section, James added that he “found this cruel and so sad. Just a Worm without a mustache now,” added the 31-year-old, repeating a quote that he made about Sandoval at a Vanderpump Rules reunion.

And Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent also expressed outrage over the clips of Tom with a tiger in captivity. “I am appalled by the photo my cast member took with a tiger in captivity. This topic has been close to my heart for many years,” she shared on Instagram. 

And Lala added, “What is disguised as ‘fun’ and ‘cool’ is, in fact, animal abuse. It’s heartbreaking. I’ve made noise about educating yourselves,” she shared. “And here I am to tell you again. Do not support places like this.”

Vanderpump Rules Spoilers – PETA Praises Lala Kent

Kent, 33, has discussed her views on captive wildlife previously. For instance, Lala and her Vanderpump Rules costars Scheana Shay and Ariana Madix starred in a “Free the Orcas” PETA ad. And the animal rights organization praised Kent for urging SeaWorld to move the captive orca named Corky to a seaside sanctuary.

Meanwhile, Vanderpump Rules viewers continue to view Sandoval as the show’s villain. For instance, the Bravo fan convention known as BravoCon in November saw attendees boo Sandoval. And amid his appearance on Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test in November, he shared what he went through over the cheating scandal. 

But Tom shared that he thought it seemed unfair. And he pointed out, “I had an affair, and it just blew up. People were messaging me paragraphs of just, like, vicious, like, so visceral, like, hatred,” Sandoval complained.
