Paula Abdul – Dishes On Joining Real Housewives

Singer, dancer, and… Real Housewives star? Paula Abdul has enjoyed her fame for many reasons. But thus far, joining the Real Housewives cast doesn’t rank on her list. However, rumors recently have soared that Paula plans to join the Real Housewives franchise. And now Abdul has reacted to all the gossip via ET. 

The 60-year-old shared that she feels “humbled” at the invitation. And Paula admitted that she “got a kick out of it that I was ever even asked. However, I like to be the one on the couch with the popcorn, watching with my dogs.” And Abdul also noted that she has enjoyed starring on reality TV shows. 

For instance, Paula recalled her experience on American Idol as “joyful.” But she admitted, “I feel like I’ve been on reality television for a long, long time. Being part of history, making shows, and being able to be a mentor, it’s been joyful.” And life after reality TV for Abdul focuses on TikTok. Paula described the platform as “really spur of the moment.”

“TikTok was built for me. I should have been doing this a long time ago,” she joked. “I’m having a great time, especially working with younger talent, being able to pass on a lot of wisdom. I love being able to let them know what they’re up against, what they should be doing to nail their auditions and things like that.”

Chrissy Teigen -nShares Her Views On Real Housewives

But for the ultimate fan of Real Housewives, Chrissy Teigen just might win. And Bravo producer Andy Cohen has repeatedly named Chrissy as number one on his wish list of future Real Housewives stars. As a result, Cohen discussed the offer with Teigen on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, noted People.

And the model, 37, reflected on the possibility of joining Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. “Obviously I love watching the show,” admitted Chrissy. But she added, “I don’t think fans of the show are necessarily good on it. Because we know too much. And I think they come in and it seems like they’re too fan-girly.”

However, when Teigen added that she dislikes all the fighting, Cohen tried to persuade her. And the 54-year-old producer promised, “Well good, you don’t have to fight, you can be the fun girl.” But Chrissy feels that fans “hate the fun girl.”

Cohen didn’t let up, though. And he pointed out, “Absolutely not!” Andy cited Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan as an example of a “fun girl.” And Cohen has joined Real Housewives star Kyle Richards in suggesting that Chrissy star on the show. “I always said Chrissy Teigen would be the best,” revealed Richards, 54. “It’s not an easy job, believe it or not.”
