Project Runway All-Stars Features Fan Favorite Designers From 19 Seasons

Project Runway All-Stars will give Bravo the chance to create a new milestone. And that involves seeking out the most popular designers from the last 19 seasons. As a result, Project Runway Season 20 promises to be one to remember.

Project Runway – All-Stars Looks Back On 19 Fashionable Seasons

For 19 seasons, Project Runway has given aspiring fashion designers the chance to prove their talents to professionals as well as TV viewers. But for its 20th season, Project Runway will offer something very different. And with help from past winner and current fashion phenom Christian Siriano, Project Runway All-Stars will give past fan faves the opportunity to compete again, reported People.

However, the designers who compete won’t do it just for the glory. And the cast, who will represent Project Runway seasons 1 through 19, will vie for a $250,000 prize. Set to premiere on June 15, the all-stars Project Runway season will include a two-part show.

Challenges promise to offer twists as well. For instance, watch for the classic denim competition. And look for a crossover with Below Deck, as the designers try to come up with new uniforms for fan faves from the Below Deck cast. Christian Siriano will once again take on the role of the designers’ mentor. And judges include Nina Garcia, Brandon Maxwell, and Elaine Welteroth. 

Project Runway – All-Stars Features Celebrities

However, a special aspect of Project Runway All-Stars includes celebrity judges. Alicia Silverstone, Billy Porter, Zac Posen, and Stacey Bendet will take turns offering their fashion views as celebrity judges. And Wes Gordon, Lena Waithe, Law Roach, Jennie Garth, Paulina Porizkova, Sergio Hudson, Julia Fox, and Willy Chavarria will appear as well. Below Deck fan fave Kate Chastain and Real Housewives star Luann de Lesseps also will dish up their fashion views on the show. 

And Siriano offered some hints about what to expect. For instance, he revealed, “We found designers from Season 1.” Viewers can also look forward to catching up with seasons 3 and 4 contestants. “We even have a designer from my season, which will be really interesting,” added the 37-year-old. “Because I’m the boss.”

Contestants include Brittany Allen (Season 18), Prajje Oscar Jean Baptiste (Season 19), Laurence Basse (Season 15), Fabio Costa (Season 10), Bishme Cromartie (Season 17), Johnathan Kayne Gillaspie (Season 3), Mila Hermanovski (Season 7), Rami Kashou (Season 4), Viktor Luna (Season 9), Korto Momolu (Season 5), Nora Pagel (Season 1), Kara Saun (Season 1), Hester Sunshine (Season 17), and Anna Yinan Zhou (Season 19). The two-part debut of Project Runway All-Stars premieres on Thursday, June 15, at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
