What happens in Montana stays in Montana? Not when the Real Housewives Of Orange County (RHOC) cast use that destination for a group trip. And as the RHOC stars became better acquainted, Taylor Armstrong stunned her fellow cast mates with her confession. Real Housewives of Orange County spoilers via People reveal the 52-year-old sharing her bisexuality.

Taylor began this season in a “friend of a housewife” role. However, during her appearance on the Montana girls’ trip, she stole the spotlight with her confessions. And RHOC spoilers reveal newbie Jennifer Pendantri prompting Armstrong to spill. 

“Are you [bisexual]?” asked Jennifer. However, at first, Taylor joked about her sexuality. And she questioned, “Now are you nervous about me being in the bunkhouse with you?” But then the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) alum shared her five-year relationship with another woman. However, Armstrong clarified that relationship took place before she wed her late first husband Russell.

And Taylor pointed out, “I know marriages that don’t last that long,.” But she admitted, “Most people are surprised to find out that I’m bisexual.” However, the RHOC star feels the surprise comes from “stereotypes.” And she added, “I mean it’s not something I broadcast. But I’m open to all people who have great souls that you can love.”

But Armstrong’s past includes tragedy after tying the knot with Russell Armstrong in 2004. The two tried to portray a perfect family after welcoming their daughter Kennedy in 2006. But in 2011, Taylor filed for divorce citing verbal and physical abuse. And the next month, her estranged husband died by suicide at age 47.

In 2014, Taylor married attorney John Bluher in 2014. And the couple moved to Orange County with Kennedy, now 17-years-old. As a result of the move, Armstrong went from RHOBH to RHOC. And she reflected on the difference.

“I went through so much trauma when I was on Beverly Hills,” recalled Taylor. “And now I’m getting to have such a fresh perspective of just being with the ladies and having fun and speaking my truth.” Armstrong also opened up about “not being concerned about what it’s like to actually go home at the end of the day. I really was having so much drama at home with my marriage and the abuse in my life that I didn’t really get a chance to be myself,” she added.
