Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) star Kyle Richards recently achieved an impressive weight loss. But rather than applaud her, some RHOBH fans speculated that Kyle used the diabetes drug Ozempic to shed pounds. And now Richards feels ready to battle those rumors.

At 54, Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards just disproved those reports that weight loss over 40 seems impossible. But Kyle lost weight loss so quickly that rumors soared about the possibility that she used Ozempic. And the RHOBH star finally expressed her views on that topic in a new interview via Heavy.

“I cannot stand people saying that,” said Kyle about the weight loss drug rumors. “Because people that know me know that I’m up every day at like 5, 6 a.m. at the latest. That’s a late morning 6 a.m.. I’m in the gym for two hours.”

However, Richards also shared that she focused on diet and fitness combined to achieve that rapid weight loss. As a result, the weight loss drug rumors feel “frustrating,” added the reality TV star. “I really put a lot of effort into my diet and exercise and taking care of myself, so when people like to think I took the easy way out, it’s frustrating to me.”

And although Kyle does try to “turn my cheek the other way and ignore” the rumors, she admitted that it gets to her. “But no, I work really hard,” added the RHOBH star about her slim-down success. “And it really bothers me.”

Richards’ new interview comes in the wake of her Instagram post about rumors that she turned to the diabetes drug Ozempic to speed up her weight loss. “I am NOT taking Ozempic. Never have,” insisted the reality TV star on Instagram. 

However, that post didn’t stop all the speculation. And Kyle revealed that she decided to share exactly how she lost weight in order to become “an inspiration to people. So don’t think I took the easy way out.”

The RHOBH star revealed that she began her new weight loss program in July. “I decided in July okay this is it,” recalled Richards. “And I was just eating really well and exercising every single day, not missing, and no alcohol.” However, Kyle also made sure to get plenty of sleep. “And you know, sleeping very early and waking up really early and hitting the gym for two hours a day,” she added.

However, the RHOBH star also noted that her diet helped her shed the weight. And she shared her list of foods that she eliminated. “NO alcohol, bread, pasta, sugar. I eat protein, fruit and vegetables. Now that I am the weight I want to be, I will have the occasional small amount of pasta etc once in a while. But no alcohol since July 15,” shared Kyle.
