Savannah Chrisley’s New Man Survived Beauty Queen Murder Plot

After watching her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley move from their luxurious mansion to prison cells, Savannah Chrisley has learned something about survival. And perhaps that’s one reason her new man appealed to her. An insider told People that the 26-year-old Chrisley Knows Best alum has become involved with Robert Shiver, the former football player known for surviving his wife Lindsay Shiver’s alleged plot to murder him after he discovered her affair.

The so-called beauty queen murder plot involved allegations that Lindsay, an ex-beauty pageant queen and Auburn University cheerleader, and her boyfriend plotted to murder Robert with an alleged hitman. Police arrested Lindsay, her boyfriend, and the alleged hitman in Abaco, Bahamas. 

And the arrest followed police’s discovery of a series of WhatsApp messages. Those messages described the alleged plan to murder Robert. However, the phone that contained those messages belonged to an individual allegedly responsible for a break-in at Grabber’s Bar and Grill on Guana.

The police report read, “On July 16, 2023 at Abaco, [the defendants,] while being together did, with a common purpose agree to commit an offense, namely the murder of Richard Shiver.” And in the wake of those allegations, the trio involved in the murder plot appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley. All three remain in a prison and will go back to court in early October.

Savannah Chrisley Dates Robert Shiver After Ending Engagement

However, the Chrisley Knows Best alum began her new romance after a disappointing end to her relationship with Nic Kerdiles. The two had been engaged for about two years. But then on Instagram, Savannah revealed that she and Nic had “decided to call it quits.”

And the Chrisley Knows Best alum revealed, “You’ve all been wondering…so here it is. Oh how I wish this smile was on my face and that infectious laugh was spewing out of my body right now,” she shared. “But sadly it’s not. Nic and I have decided to call it quits.”

However, Savannah shared that “no hatred” existed “between the two of us. And in all honesty, that makes saying goodbye even harder,” she added. “We have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for one another but it’s time for us to move forward individually.”

And at the time, Savannah shared that though her time with Nic had involved “some of the best years of my life,” she wanted “to trust that God has a far greater purpose for my life. I believe that He will take this hardship and make something beautiful out of it,” she added. “Now please be kind with this news that I am sharing.”
