Savannah Chrisley Feels ‘Lonely’ Amid Parents’ Prison Term

Julie and Todd Chrisley’s daughter Savannah Chrisley grew up following her Chrisley Knows Best parents’ rules. But then the Chrisley matriarch and patriarch received prison sentences. As a result, Savannah has taken on the role of the main Chrisley family communicator and caretaker.

However, the Chrisley Knows Best star just shared her challenges in an Instagram Story. And as Savannah admitted, surviving life with her parents in prison has presented some heartbreak. Find out what the Chrisley Knows Best star shared below.

Chrisley Knows Best – Star Savannah Chrisley Shares Her Struggles

Because of Julie and Todd’s prison sentence, Savannah became the main caretaker for her younger brother Grayson and niece Chloe. And the Chrisley Knows Best star shared on her Instagram platform that she faces constant challenges. However, a quote that she shared offered some insights into how Savannah feels, reported MSN.

“Let me be honest with you,” began the quote that the Chrisley Knows Best star posted on Instagram. “There is nothing peaceful about your healing. In fact, your healing can be a very unbeautiful thing. It’s loud and angry. It’s terrifyingly lonely and quiet, too.”

However, the quote noted that healing offers benefits along with the pain. “But despite all these things, your healing is still important. Your healing is still necessary. Your healing is everything you hate,” added the quote. “But that just means it’s giving you the space to grow.”

Savannah Chrisley – Reveals What She Needs

And in her response to that quote, Savannah admitted, “Never needed this more than I do tonight.” The Instagram post follows up on the Chrisley Knows Best star’s previous confessions about her struggles taking care of the younger members in the family. Ever since Todd and Julie Chrisley moved to separate prisons as a result of bank fraud and tax evasion charges, Savannah has become the guardian of Grayson and Chloe.

And the challenges sometimes seem overwhelming. For instance, the Chrisley Knows Best star recently described a “full-on breakdown. I was trying to find Chloe proper clothes to go and visit my parents and find her hair stuff. I just sat down on the floor and started crying,” recalled Savannah.

And the 25-year-old pointed out, “I am not my mother. How am I going to do this? I don’t feel that I am worthy or capable enough of doing the job she’s done for all her life.” However, Chloe tried to reassure Savannah. “And the next day Chloe said, ‘You’re doing a pretty good job. You made me ramen noodles last night.’”

But Savannah has discovered how to balance her own life with her caretaker duties. And she recently hinted that she found time for romance. However, she added, the family comes as a “package deal.” And she tells prospective dates, “This is what you’re getting into. Guess what? There’s two kids, my parents aren’t in the greatest place in the world right now. You know it all, 110 percent transparency. If you’re in, you’re in. If you’re out, you’re out,” she summed up.
