Savannah Chrisley Reveals Her Complaints Have Hurt Dad Todd’s Prison Conditions

Chrisley Knows Best alums Julie and Todd Chrisley remain in prison after convictions of tax evasion and federal bank fraud. And their daughter Savannah has repeatedly complained about her parents’ prison conditions.

However, now Savannah has revealed her worries that her complaints have harmed her parents. Keep reading for all the details.

Savannah Chrisley – Fears She Harmed Her Parents

Did Julie and Todd Chrisley‘s daughter Savannah go too far in repeatedly complaining about her parents’ prison conditions? Ever since the Chrisley Knows Best stars began their prison sentences in January, their daughter has slammed the facilities. But Savannah told Fox that she worries her comments might risk their well-being.

Todd Chrisley’s Daughter Claims Prison Complaints Caused ‘Retaliation,’ Including Food ‘Not For Human Consumption'

After convictions for federal bank fraud and tax evasion, Todd began his prison sentence at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) in Pensacola, Florida. And Julie reported to Federal Medical Center (FMC) Lexington in Kentucky. But Savannah, 26, claimed that no one discusses prison conditions except for her. As a result, she believes that she could have harmed Todd and Julie.

“The prison conditions are not something that is spoken about at all. And I’ve definitely ruffled some feathers by speaking about it,” Savannah admitted. However, that didn’t stop the Chrisley Knows Best alum from complaining in more detail.

Todd And Julie Chrisley  – Eat Food ‘Not For Human Consumption’

And Savannah claimed that her parents suffer in 115-degree heat. She also alleged that their prisons endanger their health because of “black mold, asbestos, lead-based paint. They’re consuming food that says ‘not for human consumption.’ There’s not clean drinking water,” she added.

However, Savannah then shared that by complaining about the prison conditions, “there has been some retaliation against them. But if it means them being uncomfortable for us to make lasting change, then that’s what we’re going to do.” The Chrisley Knows Best alums did receive reduced sentences recently.

As a result of the changes, Todd will serve 10 years in prison. And Julie will serve five years. They also must go on probation after their prison terms end. Julie’s convictions included wire fraud, obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, tax fraud and conspiracy to defraud the United States. And Todd’s convictions included bank fraud, tax fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States.

However, Todd alleged that he felt “singled out” because of his “celebrity status.” And the Chrisley Knows Best alum claimed that led to mistreatment. His attorney Jay Surgent described his living conditions as “horrible.” And the lawyer also claimed, “Someone was allowed to take a photo of him while he was sleeping, and this is a result of his celebrity status.”

Tell us what you think. Do you believe Savannah’s claims that her complaints about prison resulted in retaliation, including her parents receiving food not fit for human consumption? And after you share your views, check back on our site for more reality TV news.

I think Savannah may be embellishing a bit here. Someone from FPC Pensacola spoke out on Redditt, saying that the conditions, during their incarceration at Pensacola, was not as bad a Savannah is stating. I should add that I live in Pensacola, and I have seen the facility in Pensacola and it is a very, very nice facility, very clean and well kept. I’m told that the food is more than decent.

A similar scenario with Julie’s Kentucky location. A Reddit poster has shared statements made by a fellow inmate at Kentucky, saying that Julie is treated like royalty there and they have never seen snakes. They stated that the food is not 5*, but not horrible.

I’m no expert, but Savannah’s exaggerations could stem from her embarrassment and shame of her Parents’s crimes. She is, after all, human, very immature, naive of the things in the real world, alone and scared. She’s had a lot thrust upon her and she’s trying to keep her head above water. Sadly, in an effort to control Savannah, Todd failed to give her important life lessons, true education and the tools needed to navigate a very hard world.

I hope she can find her purpose.
