Sister Wives: Christine And Janelle Brown Blasts Kody For Saying They Trash-Talked Him

These ex-sister wives of Kody Brown are not taking it lightly with him after hearing him accuse them of trash-talking him to “feel OK” with themselves. Without further ado, let me quickly take you to where it all began. Kody’s allegation took place on the recent “Sister Wives: One on One” episode which aired on November 26.

During the controversial episode, the patriarch of the Brown family sat with host Sukanya “Suki” Krishnan to reminisce on some moments from season 18 when Kody, 54, told Suki about his unhappiness with Christine and Janelle’s strong friendship since splitting from him.

For clarity purposes, Christine and Janelle have always been friends while married to Kody and even after Christine left the marriage in November 2021 after 25 years, the two remained close.

The following year, Janelle divorced Kody, and Meri followed suit months later leaving him with Robyn as his last wife standing.

Speaking with Suki he said, “I see it as a big F— you to Kody. It’s like we’re going to get along now because this will really piss Kody off. I think they’re trash-talking me because … if I’m small [it] makes them feel OK for how they treated me,”

He didn’t stop there, the dad of 18 explained, “Here’s what’s happened. I’ve spent two years watching and seeing Christine and Janelle talk about me, without me, and they’re just trash talking me. So I’m going, I don’t want to ask about anyone else, because I don’t want anybody talking about me.”

“What are they trash talking me about? They’re trash talking me because I’m guilty — actually, yes I am — of not loving them. I was guilty of not being in love with them. It was guilt from the beginning. I married on a premise that was very different than romantic love,” he continued. “I’m in a place now where I would like romantic love with Janelle, we’ve got stuff to work out.”

Sister Wives Spoilers — Christine And Janelle Brown’s Response To Kody Brown’s Claims

In an exclusive interview with E! News’ Francesca Amiker, the two women shared what they think might be why Kody went about saying the things he said.

Christine told Francesca, “I think he’s trying to find fault because he’s not liking things that are happening in his life, so he’s trying to find fault with other people.”

Janelle totally agreed with Christine’s view saying, “I feel bad that he feels like that. But it does feel like he’s trying to find a reason.” Their point referenced Kody’s estrangement with some of his older Kids. Despite not being on the best terms with them, both women still hope that their relationship can be salvaged and Christine revealed, “We actually would love Kody to have a great relationship with all of his children, and I do whatever I can to facilitate that.”

Christine, who left her over two decades old marriage, also told the interviewer how she came to the decision to leave Kody. “I realized that it just wasn’t the relationship that I was looking for, for my kids. And it wasn’t a relationship I was looking for myself. And then I was like, Okay, well, now that I found that, I’m going to move on, and I’m going to go, and I’m not going to stay anymore. So for me, it was instantaneous.”
