Southern Charm rumors linking star Madison LeCroy to ex-MLB player Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) began in 2021. And a Southern Charm reunion episode even featured the claims that Madison had hooked up with Alex. However, now LeCroy has used a podcast to revisit those rumors.
Find out what the Southern Charm star alleges about Rodriguez. And learn how Madison’s allegations involve Jennifer Lopez (J Lo). Get all the details below.
Madison LeCroy Claims A-Rod Slid Into Her DMS Amid J Lo Engagement
Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy decided the time has come to revisit all those rumors about her alleged involvement with ex-MLB player Alex Rodriguez. And on her costar Austen Kroll’s podcast, Madison claimed that Alex “clearly” wanted a “side chick.” As a result, LeCroy alleges that Rodriguez slid into her DMS during his engagement to Jennifer Lopez, reported Page Six.
The Southern Charm star recalled the 2021 rumors that she had hooked up with a well-known ex-MLB player. And the gossip got to the point where the season 7 reunion included the allegations. However, on Austen’s podcast, Madison described her shock when she received her first Instagram message from the famous MLB player back in 2020.
And LeCroy shared that she believed she had gotten “f–king catfished. The dude who’s dating [Jennifer Lopez] is not in my DMs right now,” she at first assumed. But then Madison shared, “I told [Rodriguez], I said, ‘If you’re looking for a side chick,’ which clearly he was, ‘it wasn’t gonna be me.’ I’m wifey material.”

Southern Charm Star Alleges A-Rod Repeatedly Contacted Her
At the time of the alleged scandal, Madison was dating Kroll. But she claimed that A-Rod, 47, sought to chat with her by asking about gyms in her neighborhood during the COVID-19 lockdown. However, the Southern Charm star believed Rodriguez wanted more than information about gyms.
“He kept on FaceTiming you ad nauseam,” Kroll recalled. “You were like, ‘This motherf–ker’s FaceTimed me three or four times today.’ And then he, like, got mad at Madison because she didn’t answer when she was on the boat or something. And she was like, ‘I’m not at your beck and call.’”
However, Rodriguez’s spokesman, Ron Berkowitz, denied the Southern Charm star’s allegations. And he said, “Her 15 minutes of fame are up, and she is trying to get a 16th minute. Please stop wasting everyone’s time with these false narratives. They were false two years ago and continue to be false.”
Alex Rodriguez ‘Never Physically Cheated’ With Madison LeCroy
However, Madixon also alleged that Rodriguez offered to fly her to Miami on several occasions. And he allegedly sent her travel plans as well. But LeCroy also admitted that some don’t believe her about never hooking up with Rodriguez. “People still don’t believe me. I swear to God, I’ve never, ever seen that person,” LeCroy added.
And the Southern Charm star admitted that she did talk to Alex on the phone. But the two never got physical. “He’s never physically cheated on his [then] fiancée with me,” she said. “I don’t want anything bad for his family, or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this.”
Since those rumors, Lopez and Rodriguez ended their engagement. And Jennifer tied the knot with Ben Affleck in July 2022. Meanwhile, the Southern Charm star married Brett Randle in November 2022.
