Summer House Spoilers: Andy Cohen ‘Activates’ Messy Reunion!

Summer House spoilers reveal that Andy Cohen digs deep on the season seven reunion. And rather than the usual round table of cheering the cast’s Summer House antics, Cohen probes reality TV star Carl Radke about his girlfriend Lindsay Hubbard’s use of alcohol. But Summer House star Danielle Olivera offers her own perspective on the topic of Lindsay drinking.

Summer House Spoilers – Andy Cohen Tells Lindsay To Go To Al-Anon!

As host of Bravo’s reality TV show reunion episodes, Andy Cohen typically reads questions from his cards and admires the cast members’ styles. But on the season seven reunion of Summer House, Andy took on a role of advisor as well as moderator. And in particular, Cohen questioned Summer House star Carl Radke about how his fiancé Lindsay Hubbard’s drinking has impacted their relationship, noted People.

And Carl, 38, admitted that the two have “talked about it a lot. We go to couples therapy.” But he added, “It’s become a major part of the dialogue. Because I never wanted to hold her back from being herself. And sometimes when there’s alcohol involved, we don’t communicate well whatsoever.”

However, Lindsay, 36, agreed that her drinking can make communications challenging. Because Carl has remained sober for two years, Summer House co-star Kyle Cooke expressed concern about Lindsay’s “activated” behavior under alcohol. And both Carl and Lindsay agreed that her behavior while drinking can “snowball. We do therapy,” shared Carl.

But Cohen gave Lindsay his insights. And he asserted, “This is going to be an issue for you. Carl is sober. You are not. Al-Anon is your friend.” However, Lindsay agreed with Andy, sharing that she uses a spreadsheet of different Al-Anon Zoom meetings.

Summer House Spoilers – Danielle Olivera Reveals Off-Camera Fight!

However, Lindsay’s former best friend Danielle Olivera gave a different perspective. And she shared that her Summer House co-star’s use of alcohol resulted in a big fight that did not take place on camera. “There was a moment where we went to Montauk,” said the 34-year-old. “And we were the three amigos at one of our favorite bands.”

However, Danielle then revealed that Lindsay began drinking alcohol. And while she and Carl enjoyed the band, Danielle noted Lindsay becoming “contentious with Carlito.” But the argument got worse, according to Danielle. As a result, “Carl left the table.”

And Danielle shared that Carl had wondered what would happen when Lindsay went “back to drinking” after a period of sobriety. Carl had “assumed that when she would go back to drinking, maybe she would have this part of her be activated again,” noted Danielle. But he had thought Lindsay would not direct her anger at him.

And Danielle shared that she sought to reassure Carl. “And I said, ‘Listen, it’s gonna happen. We can get through this. I was trying to bring it back together.’ But what ended up happening was, [Lindsay] went to Southampton,” she recalled. “And he took an Uber back to the city.”

As a result, Andy opined that taking an Uber that cost hundreds of dollars for the ride back to Manhattan seemed like “an “aggressive move.” However, while agreeing, Danielle clarified that she didn’t want to take responsibility for discussing the fight on camera. But Cohen pointed out to Lindsay, “It seemed from watching the show that a lot of your fights happened when you were drinking.” And she agreed.

Andy then asked if she uses caution with Carl. And she explained, “Sometimes just because I want to be respectful and in a sense where it’s like, I don’t want to drink too much rosé and then get activated and something comes up or I feel defensive.” However, Carl claimed that he sees growth “from season 4 ‘Don’t activate me Lindsay’ to now.”
