Teen Mom Star Ashley Jones KIDNAPPED

It’s safe to say Teen Mom stars Ashley Jones and Bar (Bariki) Smith are over for good this time.  The MTV stars have had a tumultuous relationship since they debuted on the series in 2015. 

After multiple run-ins with the law over the years, Ashley Jones’ baby-daddy was arrested on kidnapping and harassment charges in Nevada this week.  Keep reading for all the details.

Ashley Jones’ – Ex Arrested For Kidnapping

A warrant for Bar Smith was issued on July 4th for “failure to pay.”  When Smith was picked up for the warrant he was also hit with a slew of new charges including coercion domestic violence with the threat of or using physical force, kidnapping in the second degree, and harassment. 

According to the internet, the alleged kidnapping victim was his baby-mama, Teen Mom star Ashley Smith.

There are no specific details about what happened to cause Bariki Smith’s arrest, and Ashley Jones isn’t spilling the tea on social media. 

In fact, she seems unfazed by the whole ordeal and posted a photo of herself cuddled up to another man a few days after Bar’s arrest.

Bariki Smith – Doing Prison Time?

It’s likely that the kidnapping charges were from an incident that occurred a while ago, and once the police had Smith they charged him for that as well.  Regardless of how it all came about, Bar is going to want to hire a lawyer ASAP. 

The kidnapping charges alone could put him behind bars for almost 20 years.  The odds of him getting out of this legal mess without doing time are slim to none.

Teen Mom viewers aren’t exactly shocked by Bariki Smith’s latest run-in with the Nevada police.  Smith’s lengthy arrest record began before he even joined the show, and while he was a cast member he was arrested or firing a gun during a dispute.
