The Bachelor Colton Underwood Will Never Return To The Show, But Is Open To Reality TV

The Bachelor Colton Underwood Will Never Return To The ShowThe Bachelor alum Colton Underwood revealed that he would never return to The Bachelor franchise. It makes sense since he’s been in a relationship with Cassie Randolph. In a shocking turn of events, the couple briefly split last year. But they’re back together and better than ever. Colton doesn’t need the show anymore. Read on to learn what he has to say about making a return to reality TV.

Colton Underwood’s contract with The Bachelor has expired. The 28-year-old is spilling the tea in his new book, The First Time: Finding Myself and Looking for Love on Reality TV. On the dating series, Colton Underwood broke tradition and chose his final pick, Cassie Randolph, without an engagement ring. Upon the release of his new book, the NFL player claims he struggled with The Bachelor producers more than most people assume.

During his interview with Us Weekly, Colton was asked whether he would return to reality television. The former Bachelor was on board with the idea. He also would like Cassie to star alongside him.

“We’ve both actually talked about [returning to reality TV] and we’re very hopeful something might happen,” Colton said. “We’re definitely on board with it. We understand the risks involved. But I think we both like and enjoy being on camera. I don’t see anything wrong in saying that.”

Despite wanting to return to reality television, Colton has no desire to return to The Bachelor franchise anytime soon. In another interview with Variety, he revealed he wrote his book to close his chapter on the ABC franchise. He said: “For me, I feel like as therapeutic and as good as this book was, it was also a way for me to sort of close the chapter on The Bachelor franchise. I have nothing but love and support for those people and I feel like I’m walking away at a good point right now. I’ll always support the bachelors and bachelorettes. But as far as being on screen with the franchise, I feel like my time is done.”

This doesn’t come as a shock to Bachelor Nation. In another interview with The Los Angeles Times, Colton addressed how The Bachelor producers manipulated him in several ways, including in his relationship with Cassie. He felt the show should have given him a “fair shot” to end up with the woman he fell in love with since that’s the whole goal of the show.

Regardless, Colton Underwood doesn’t have any bad blood with the series. He ended up with Cassie Randolph and is living his best life. He continues to support everyone involved with The Bachelor franchise.
