The Bachelorette Spoilers: Juan Pablo Galavis Hopes Clare Crawley Will “Follow Her Heart”

Bachelor: Juan Pablo Galavis and Hopes Clare Crawley

Juan Pablo Galavis is known as the bad boy of The Bachelor franchise. However, he became overshadowed by Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor. Peter has been labeled as the worst Bachelor in the show’s history.

The next season of The Bachelorette will be about Clare Crawley’s search to find love. Juan revealed that he’s still supportive of her despite their messy breakup on The Bachelor, which aired back in 2014. Some fans may be watching that iconic season just to get through this difficult time.

Now, Juan offered some advice for Clare and opinions about her cast. The cast for her season has already been revealed. Bachelor Nation is not happy to see that most of the men are much younger than her. They already sat through young contestants during Peter’s season of The Bachelor. Clare is 38 years old, the oldest Bachelorette in history.

That means her suitors should be older or her around her age. Since the production of the Bachelorette has been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic, the men could get recast.

Juan Pablo Galavis shared his thoughts on Twitter, as per Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “For THOSE asking me about @Clare_Crawley as the NEW Bachelorette, I believe she is PERFECT for it,” he wrote. “She DESERVES unconditional LOVE and a family.” He added on to call Clare’s season “interesting” and that it’s the “3rd season I’m [sic] gonna watch.”

He also advised Clare to “follow her heart.” Since Juan made plenty of mistakes as the lead of The Bachelor, he offered some advice for her own journey. “She just has to follow her heart, do what she believes is best for her future, be real and not let the show pressure her into making the wrong decision,” he revealed in an interview with Life & Style. Bachelor Nation felt that Juan was jealous that she’s going to be the lead of The Bachelorette. He insists there are no hard feelings.

“I never had any bad blood with her,” Juan explained. “I did what I had to do, which was pick who I felt was The One. The experience taught me a lot, even after, to be honest, but my intention was never to hurt Clare or any other contestant. The show puts you in tough spots, so I can ultimately understand how she must have felt.”

Clare Crawley was announced as the star of Season 16 of The Bachelorette. She was introduced to Bachelor Nation after she was a contestant during Juan’s season of The Bachelor. The season ended with her telling him off about his inappropriate behavior and choosing Nikki Ferrell over her.
