Is The Golden Bachelorette happening?  Unless you were living under a rock this year, you have most likely heard of ABC’s newest Bachelor Franchise addition, Gerry Turner.  Watching the Golden Bachelor find love was a hit for viewers and ratings windfall.  It would be absurd for ABC to not follow up with The Golden Bachelorette.  Here’s everything we know so far, keep reading for all the details.

The Golden Bachelor finale aired right before the holidays and Gerry Turner (72) found love and gave his final rose to winner Theresa Nist (70 years old).  The couple is still going strong and currently planning their wedding.  Now, Bachelor fans are clamoring for a Golden Bachelorette this Spring.  And, it looks like it might actually be happening.

Golden Bachelor – Gets Bachelorette Spinoff?

Showrunner Bennett Graebner confirmed during a Golden Bachelor panel in New York City right before the holidays that there were talks happening for a Golden Bachelorette.  Graebner added, “Nothing would make us happier,” than choosing a female lead for the new series.

The Golden Bachelor and Gerry Turner scored higher ratings than any of ABC’s reality shows since 2020. 

He had a stellar group of women to choose from, and ABC has multiple options when it comes to choosing the Golden Bachelorette. 

Rumor has it that runner-up Leslie Fhima (64 years old) is at the top of the list of possibilities, but no one from the network has made a final decision. 

Fhima was a fan favorite on Gerry Turner’s season though and would certainly bring in the viewers.

Where There Be A Golden Bachelor In Paradise Too?

If ABC follows true Bachelor protocol, then there could be a Golden Bachelorette Season 1 kicking off in the Spring in just a few short months. 

If fans are lucky and the franchise continues to do well, maybe we can even get a Golden Bachelor In Paradise this summer.
