The Traitors Spoilers: A Below Deck Fan Fave Returns In Season Two!

Below Deck meets Big Brother in season two of The Traitors. And spoilers for the popular Peacock series reveal that a Below Deck fan favorite feels well-prepared after becoming a break-out star in season one of The Traitors. 

But contestants will need to wait until half-way through season two for the surprise arrival. Get all the details below. 

The Traitors Spoilers – Below Deck Alum Returns!

As Below Deck alum Kate Chastain herself summed up her return to The Traitors: “I think you missed me.” Kate delighted viewers with her quips and wit in season one of The Traitors. And her return for season two likely will become one of the highlights. But Big Brother alum Dr. Will Kirby will join her, per spoilers for season two of The Traitors via People.

Designed as a psychological reality competition series, The Traitors seeks contestants eager to find the secret saboteurs for the prize of $250,000. And Below Deck alum Kate took fifth place on the first season of The Traitors. However, she also quickly became a fan favorite for her humorous comments.

But contestants on season two actually won’t know about Chastain’s participation until halfway through. And Kate admitted, “What makes my return to The Traitors so exciting is that no one saw it coming … myself included!” But the Below Deck alum shared that she felt “willing to give it another go.”

However, Kate also confessed that she made the decision to return for two key reasons. First, “because I knew the cast this year was stacked with so many big, fun personalities,” the Below Deck alum revealed. And second, she added, “Let’s face it: when Alan Cumming invites you back to his castle, you go!”

The Traitors Spoilers – ‘Who Do We Hate’?

Appearing on The Traitors gives Kate a new opportunity to star in a reality TV show after giving birth to her son Sullivan Cay in May 2023. And although Chastain stepped away from Below Deck after the seventh season, she starred in and executive-produced Chat Room. Kate also appeared on Below Deck Galley Talk and starred in the show Couch Talk With Captain Lee and Kate.

But as spoilers for The Traitors reveal, Kate gets right into the game upon her return. And she poses a teasing question to the group. “Tell me everything, who do we hate?” the Below Deck alum asks.

Season two includes 21 alums representing the world of reality TV. And they include stars from Survivor, The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, The Real Housewives, Big Brother, The Challenge, and Love Island. For instance, the cast includes Dan Gheesling (Big Brother),  Larsa Pippen (The Real Housewives of Miami), Maksim Chmerkovskiy (Dancing with the Stars), Peter Weber (The Bachelor), Phaedra Parks (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), and  Sandra Diaz-Twine (Survivor). The first season of The Traitors in the United States became so popular that similar shows have aired in the U.K. and Australia. Episodes for season two of The Traitors become available to watch on Peacock on Thursdays at 6pm PT / 9pm ET.
