Todd Chrisley apparently won’t let a prison sentence of more than a decade stop him from finding ways to profit. And just days after his reality TV show, Chrisley Knows Best, got cancelled, Todd has teased a documentary series. However, he also offered some thoughts about his future.
Find out what Todd shared about the potential of a documentary series. And learn what else he revealed. Get all the details below.
Todd Chrisley – Refuses To Discuss Criminal Convictions
Crime doesn’t pay? Chrisley Knows Best star Todd Chrisley seems determined to ignore that philosophy. And the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch used his podcast to offer his views on his life. Todd’s wife, Julie Chrisley, also sounded off on their Chrisley Confessions podcast. However, rather than talk about her tax fraud crimes, Julie discussed a visit to the doctor, according to ET.
Todd then discussed his faith that his life would work out fine. “We’re doing as well as we can do right now,” shared the Chrisley Knows Best star. And he added, “We have placed our faith in God.” As a result, Todd and Julie agreed that they believe God will “shed light where there’s darkness. God is going to walk us through the valley. We try not to get weighed down in the baggage of the gossip.”
However, the reality TV stars also steered clear of the controversy. And Todd explained why. “We cannot discuss the case because the appeal has now been [filed],” he clarified. “Don’t think we’re avoiding wanting to tell you something, because we’re not. It’s that we’ve been told we cannot. Continue to pray for us if it’s in your heart and your will to do so.”

Todd Chrisley – Complains About Starring On Chrisley Knows Best
However, the Chrisley Knows Best star then dished up some drama about his starring role on the show. And he complained that he felt forced at times to show a happy face amid his own woes. Todd, Julie, and their family first began starring on Chrisley Knows Best in 2014.
“I’m glad that our shows have brought you that happiness,” stated Todd. “Because that’s what we get up to do every day, is to make someone else’s life better. And I’ve wanted to say this for a long time,” he added. “But I don’t think the fans truly know that sometimes the happiness that we’re bringing you is at some of our saddest times. Because we don’t feel like, in that 22 minutes, that you want to hear about all the bad things happening in our lives.”
As a result, the Chrisley Knows Best star complained that the show feels like “a heavy burden to carry for 10 years.” And he added, “We’re dying on the inside” about the family’s various problems. “But we still have to put a smile on your face. So, we’re not asking for sympathy, but just understand that the work that we have done has at times been to our own detriment and has been a detriment to our own mental health, at times. And certainly with the kids.”
Todd Chrisley – Teases New Documentary Series
However, Todd then promised that he and Julie have started working on a documentary series. And he hinted about “new show content.” As a result, the Chrisley Knows Best star teased “a whole new perspective of the Chrisley family. And you are going to get to go through the ups and the downs and everything that we’re going through, the little bit that you’ve heard in the tabloids, you’ll get to hear the whole story.”
But Todd did not reveal how he can star in a documentary series amid his prison sentence. The Chrisley Knows Best star, 53, faces 12 years in prison. The sentence comes as a result of being found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States and tax fraud. Julie, 49, will spend seven years in prison. And both reality TV stars will serve 16 months’ probation.

These two sound just like harry & Meghan blaming everyone else for what they’ve done. Not willing to take responsibility for their actions is what got them such long prison sentences. I don’t have one ounce of sympathy for either one of these criminals. Why Todd would think anyone would want to see them in a documentary is beyond me. They need to just go away & serve their time.
