Todd Chrisley – Allegedly Bullied Former Daughter-In-Law

For years, Alexus Whilby allegedly coped with bullying from her former father-in-law Todd Chrisby. But with Todd having recently begun his prison sentence, Whilby feels ready to speak out. And she went into detail about the Chrisley Knows Best alum’s alleged history of bullying her and behaving in a racist way, reported Page Six

Todd Chrisley

“I endured the bullying comments for years in silence,” claimed Whilby. “But karma dealt with it so that I didn’t have to.” Alexus and Todd’s oldest son, Kyle, were married from 2014 to 2018. The husband and wife did not have children. However, Kyle did welcome a biracial daughter Chloe into the world with his ex Angela Johnson. Todd, who is now serving a lengthy prison sentence for fraud and tax evasion, previously had custody of Chloe.

Whilby shared her reaction to Todd’s alleged racist comments with regard to his role in Chloe’s life. And she shared, “To see a grown man and public figure, who is the grandfather to a beautiful black child, say those horrible things was shocking.” As proof, Whilby also made available a voicemail message allegedly from the Chrisley Knows Best alum. It serves as an example of the alleged bullying.

Todd Chrisley – Claimed Ex Daughter-in-Law Tried To ‘Extort’ Him

The voicemail message reveals the Chrisley Knows Best alum advising Whilby, “No darling, you don’t need protection. You need an attorney. Call your brothers. Find out about that trust that you’ve got. That’s got that $100 million in it because I’m coming to get my part of it.”

Todd also alleged that he filed a lawsuit against his former daughter-in-law not as a “vendetta” but to get “her to do the right thing.” The Chrisley Knows Best alum reportedly sent that message after finding out that Whilby helped “the Georgia Department of Revenue in its investigation into his tax fraud scheme.” However, Todd alleged that his former daughter-in-law tried to “extort” him.

And at one point, the Chrisley Knows Best alum tweeted, “Folks, Alexus Whilby tried to extort our family 4 20k or tell the press we r racist.” He added, “We chose 2 keep the 20k and see her in court. #slander.” But in a different tweet, Todd used racist language. And he wrote, “Alexus Whilby stop being silly u fame seeking whore. U can’t count high enough to reach me. bye you tired a*s weave wearing ashy skinned HO, u r blocked now. We are bored with pity for u.”

Chrisley Knows Best – Alum Defends Granddaughter

However, Todd subsequently seemed to change his views. And in June 2020, the Chrisley Knows Best alum slammed someone who made rude comments about his granddaughter Chloe. In response to a follower who wrote that people should “marry your own color,” Todd offered his views. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum shared his hope that the “lord lets you live long enough to see that color doesn’t screw kids up, but ignorance and hate most certainly will.”

Whilby noted that she has learned from the experience. And she believes in seeking to behave like “a good person behind the scenes and being true to yourself and others. I walked away from a family who, at the time, seemed to have it all,” she noted. “And many people thought that I was crazy.” However, Todd’s former daughter-in-law felt “empowered. I know who I was then and now. And no amount of fame could make me compromise my morals.”
