Todd Chrisley just gave his first interview since swapping his luxurious mansion for life in prison. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum lived up to his reputation for drama by claiming someone tried to blackmail his daughter via a photo.
However, Todd didn’t stop there. Because the Chrisley Knows Best alum also made some wild claims about prison officials wanting to use him as an example by putting him in shackles and giving him “diesel therapy.” And as revealed below, Todd also sees dead cats in prison.
Todd Chrisley – Claims Blackmail!
Blackmail, shackles, and a dead cat rank high on Todd Chrisley’s list of complaints about prison life. And he proved that though the networks cancelled Todd Chrisley’s reality TV show Chrisley Knows Best, the 54-year-old still knows how to bring on the drama.
But in his first interview since starting his prison sentence for tax evasion and bank fraud, Todd alleged that a guard tried to blackmail his daughter Savannah Chrisley. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum claimed via Business Insider that the guard used a photo of him for his alleged blackmail attempts.
Todd and his wife Julie Chrisley, 50, faced convictions last year of defrauding banks out of more than $30 million and hiding money from the IRS. As a result, they received a combined 19-year sentence. But after starting that sentence, Todd claimed blackmail.
“There was a photograph taken of me while I was sleeping and sent to my daughter asking for $2,600 a month for my protection,” alleged Todd. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum also claimed that prison guards want to humiliate him.
Todd Chrisley – Sees Dead Cats
Currently living at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, Todd claimed that prison staff members recorded how they wanted to humiliate him. And their plans allegedly included putting the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch in “diesel therapy” and in “shackles” and “let him ride around the country for a time.”
But Todd also claimed that inmates received food past the expiration date. And he cited a storage facility with rats, squirrels, and a dead cat. As a result, the Chrisley Knows Best alum called the prison “so disgustingly filthy.”
And Todd claimed that the prison remains “out of date by, at minimum, a year. It’s a year past expiration,” he added of the food. “And they are literally starving these men to death here. These men are getting … I don’t know if they’re getting a thousand calories a day.”
However, the reality TV star shared that he avoids prison food by buying pasta, tuna, and peanut butter at the commissary. But then he complained he couldn’t buy as much as he wants. And Todd said the warden informed him that “commissary is a privilege, not a right.”
But in a response, the prison stated that inmates eat “nutritious food.” And they also denied that facilities and food seem out-dated.

Why do you think the majority of Americans would want to read your sarcastic poorly written expose on Todd. We all care about the Christley’s and their well being. Of course he’s being harassed. Look at any prison employees and you will see a cruel petty person. The majority of them that is. We all know he had inept legal help and could have avoided prison with a plea bargain. Have some empathy and most of you are far left evil wing nuts.
