Tom Sandoval Rejects Ariana Madix’s Filing To Sell Their LA Home And Split Profits For This Reason!

Ariana Madix may want to sell their home but splitting the profits equally does not stand well with Sandoval, not with all the repairs he allegedly made with his own money. What this means, of course, is that the battle for the house is far from being over.

Tom Sandoval – Denies Ex Ariana Madix’s Filing For “Partition” of Their House

Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s 9-year romance abruptly came to an end when it was discovered that Sandoval cheated on Madix with fellow “Vanderpump Rules” star Raquel Leviss.

The cheating scandal was much publicized and talked about in the show, and it showed us glimpses into how much Madix thought herself betrayed by both Sandoval and Leviss.

Tom Sandoval Rejects Ariana Madix's Filing To Sell Their LA Home And Split Profits For This Reason Tom Sandoval Is Not Having It!

So imagine still leaving in the same house with a man that’s been unfaithful to you and you surely can’t fail to understand why Madix wants to sell the property as fast as she possibly can.

However, Sandoval is opposing this move on the grounds that she did not act “reasonably and in good faith” when filing the January lawsuit.

Sandoval, 40, filed the court documents on Friday, Feb 23, alleging that Madix “failed to state sufficient facts to state a cause of action” against him, and for this a partition of their shared home should not be granted.

He went on to say that she hasn’t tried “to mitigate whatever damages” she claims to have suffered.

If partition for the home is indeed granted, Sandoval insists that he should “receive an accounting and compensatory adjustments” since he has improved the home to an extent it would be acceptable to many would-be buyers.

Sandoval even disagrees with the “partition to sell,” which would result in things being evenly split between him and Madix, as stated in her January lawsuit. If this happens, Sandoval fears she might then sell her half to another third party.

The “Vanderpump Rules” stars and former partners originally purchased the newly completed, 4,334-square-foot home in the Valley Village neighborhood in 2019 for $2.075 million, according to a report by PEOPLE.

Ariana Madix – On The Reason She And Sandoval Agreed To Buy Their LA Property

Madix previously chatted with PEOPLE on the decisions that went into purchasing the $2 million property in 2021.

“We looked at fixer-uppers but we also looked at [turnkey] places and given the timing of when we moved and how busy [we are] . . . I am so glad that we chose where we chose and we didn’t have to do anything other than the fun stuff,” Madix said.

“We would have been screwed, honestly. I’m thrilled at how we chose to do things and everything really worked out for the best,” she added.

However, now that they’ve broken up and still living together, things have gotten a bit awkward.
“They own the house together, and what happens next with the property will take time to sort out,” the rep said. “This isn’t something that’s going to be decided in a weekend.”
