Ariana Madix hit the lowest point of her life on Vanderpump Rules last season. And she struggled after learning her boyfriend of nine years, Tom Sandoval, secretly cheated on her for months with Ariana’s supposed best friend Raquel Leviss.
But since then, Madix has found the best revenge in a glow-up that includes a doting new boyfriend. And now Ariana’s cheating ex Tom Sandoval has opened up on why he feels the show’s portrayal of him as a villain seems unfair. Get all the details below.
Vanderpump Rules Spoilers – Tom Sandoval Reacts To Daniel Wai
As fans cheered for Ariana Madix, the Vanderpump Rules star vowed to get revenge on her cheating ex Tom Sandoval. And Madix did so in the best way possible, scoring high marks on Dancing With The Stars and finding a new love in boyfriend Daniel Wai. But many fans wondered how Ariana’s ex Sandoval would feel.
And now, nearly a year after the cheating scandal exploded, Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval has reacted to Ariana moving on with her new man fitness trainer Daniel Wai. However, Sandoval had to admit that Daniel “seems like a nice guy” to E News.
But Tom clarified, “I don’t really know him or them together.” However, the Vanderpump Rules star hinted at his estrangement from Ariana. And Sandoval shared that from a distance, “they seem happy. I wish them the best.”
Vanderpump Rules Spoilers – Tom Sandoval Denies Villain Image
And Ariana teased Vanderpump Rules season 11 for featuring her new boyfriend. However, she added, “Once or twice. But definitely not very much.” And she admitted, “He’s not into the whole world of it all. It was very foreign to him. But I give him props for being a good sport on my behalf.”
Meanwhile, Sandoval feels resentful at his portrayal as the show’s villain. And he complained, “It really hurt to see people sum me up to just one thing, especially people that I had been friends with for well over a decade.” But Tom also defended himself.
For instance, Sandoval sees himself as “always the friend that showed up. I was the one that was there. So, it was hard for people to completely throw all of that out the window and everything I’ve ever done and look at me like I’m some sort of foreign spy who’s been putting on this act for 15 years for this one moment.”
But the Vanderpump Rules star hinted that fans will learn more in season 11. And he shared that much more “to what happened” will emerge. “At some point, more things and details will come out and I think this next season of Vanderpump Rules you’ll see a lot more.” But Tom did learn some lessons.
“It’s gotten me to really appreciate things in my life that maybe I took for granted,” he confessed. “I really appreciate the friends that have stuck by me. That didn’t jump on a bandwagon or a movement. I appreciate more of the littler things in life.”
