Vanderpump Rules Spoilers – A ‘Scandoval’ Red Flag!

Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix began this season of Vanderpump Rules reportedly solid in their relationship of almost a decade. But then the rumors started. And Sandoval’s months-long affair with Raquel Leviss, dubbed “Scandoval,” became public knowledge. As a result, Bravo picked up its cameras and continued filming, turning the discovery of the affair into a must-watch season. And spoilers reveal some red flags about that affair.

Vanderpump Rules cameras catch Sandoval, 40, blatantly lying about Raquel, 28, spending the night at his place. “After Beach Day, [Tom] Schwartz, Raquel and I all took a car back to my house, jumped into the jacuzzi, hung out, had some drinks, listened to music. We went in the jacuzzi,” Sandoval says in a confessional that paints a picture of a group party rather than an affair via People.

But Raquel tells her own version of the story to Ariana Madix, Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, Brock Davies and Sandoval. And she confesses that she slept over at Sandoval’s home when Ariana was away. “We went in the jacuzzi after hanging out,” Raquel explains. And Ariana, 37, agrees that sounds like “something we always do.” But then Raquel adds, “And then I stayed the night.”

Trying to track all the different narratives causes both Raquel and Tom to slip up in their lies. For instance, Leviss says, “And I slept on the couch.” And Sandoval adds, “I was like, ‘Dude, go upstairs, go to the f—ing guest room.'” But then Scheana, 37, provides a reality check.

And Scheana notes that Sandoval and Raquel changed their stories. “Raq said you guys lied and said she didn’t stay the night,” Scheana points out. And a flashback reveals Sandoval telling Schwartz, Peter Madrigal and Scheana’s husband Brock that Raquel didn’t spend the night. 

Because of the “open relationship rumor and obviously, Schwartz and Raquel making out in Mexico, we just thought maybe it’d be better if everyone didn’t know that little detail,” Sandoval said, trying to defend his lies. And to the group, Tom added, “I wasn’t lying. Like, she did dip out. She went and passed out.”

However, a confessional gives Sandoval the chance to admit to his mistake. “I fully was going to tell Ariana,” said Tom about the sleepover. “But we should’ve just told the truth,” he added. “Like, stupid.”

News about the cheating scandal began in early March. After reports that Sandoval cheated on Ariana with Raquel, Tom and Ariana broke up. Sandoval and Leviss apologized. And Raquel later checked herself into a mental health facility. “She was scheduled to go in pre-reunion but decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment,” said her rep. “Bravo and production were aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health.”
