What’s Up With Sister Wives Star Robyn’s Headshake?

Sister Wives spoilers revealed in the Season 16 Tell-All Part 1, that Robyn Brown felt that Christine was at fault for not trying hard enough to save her marriage with Kody. Well, in the teaser for Part 2 this week, Robyn reappeared, as did Kody and Janelle. On Instagram, a TLC fan noted Kody’s headshake when he was asked a hard question. But it’s interesting to see that Robyn also used it when it seemed at odds with her words.

For years now, fans slammed Robyn because they believe she wants her husband all to herself. In fact, in Season 16, she denied that and claimed that she never signed up for a monogamous life. Actually, during the season, some of the other wives seemed a bit aggressive with her, and the message came across that they hated the way she got all of Kody’s time. So, TLC fans slammed her, but obviously, she’s not keen to tell Kody to get out of her life.

Sometimes, Sister Wives fans accuse Robyn of telling lies when she isn’t crying to avoid the hard questions. However, sometimes, body language gives people away. And, no matter what comes out of the mouths of TV stars, their body gestures can reveal a lot about them.

In fact, popular therapist Dr. Kirk of Psychology In Seattle on YouTube often uses body language when commenting on reality TV stars. In fact, he recently suggested that Anna Duggar from Counting On looked terrified of Josh.

Unfortunately, he didn’t comment on Robyn, Meri, Janelle, Kody, or Christine Brown, but perhaps one day he will. However, there is another psychologist on YouTube who made some interesting observations. You can see the video further down in this article.

Sister Wives – The Headshaking In The Tell-All Teaser

TLC popped up a couple of teasers for the upcoming Tell-All. In one of them, fans saw that Kody was asked if he loves Janelle. Well, he nodded and said that he does. That seemed to be a real answer. But when Sukanya Krishnan asked him if he was “in love with Janelle,” he shook his head.

Unfortunately, we can’t tell yet if he said yes or no, as the camera cut away from him. Then Robyn Brown faced some questions and she also used a nod and a headshake. Only this time, fans heard her reply to the second question.

The host of the Sister Wives Tell-All Part 2 asked Robyn if she thinks she’s being targeted. Well, fans saw that in the show and certainly, fans do target her. Anyway, she nodded as she replied that she does feel that way. So, she seemed to tell the truth. But, when she was asked why, she shook her head as she replied, “I get along with Kody.” 

Might a body language expert suspect that she just told a fib about getting on with her husband? Is everything frosty roses and red wine in Robynland?

Do not apply this next bit if you ever visit India. There, you’ll see just about everyone shaking their heads when they say yes. However, Sister Wives star Robyn Brown isn’t from India. According to Hanan Parvez on Phsychmechancis, shaking your head when saying something positive means that something’s off. They gave this example: “if a person says, ‘It sounds good’ or ‘Okay, let’s go for it’ while shaking their head from side to side, then it’s clear that they don’t really mean what they’re saying.
