However, some have to wonder why they didn’t take a plea deal. It’s unsure why they didn’t take the plea deal. It’s most likely that the Chrisleys believe they’re not guilty. Even their daughter Savannah Chrisley has been fighting on their behalf.

“I’m assuming they probably gave him a plea deal for, like, 48 months, something like that,” Joe told People. “Something like I got, all right? So, you get 36 months out of that, on good time and all that, and then you get the drug programs, alcohol programs, and all that, you get even less time.”

Joe and his ex-wife Teresa Giudice were convicted of the same crimes. Instead of denying the charges, they got their plea deal and did their sentencing so they could move on with their lives.

One fan noted on the Chrisley Knows Prison subreddit that even President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden took a plea deal to avoid prison time.
