For royal fans and critics alike, it came as a shock to them this week when it was announced that Harry and Meghan’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, were given their royal titles. After almost two years, the Sussex kids’ names were updated to Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.

A lot of royal critics, including Piers Morgan, have denounced the move, saying that it feels like a kick to the teeth to both the monarchy and the people of Great Britain.

But for others, they say that the titles are part of their birthright. Either way, a lot of people can’t help but wonder what might be going on behind closed doors as it seems like King Chales might be trying to make amends with Harry and Meghan with this sudden move.

If that weren’t enough, it’s also been reported that preparations are being made for Harry and Meghan to attend King Charles’ coronation in May. While some people think that they should be banned from all future royal events, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were officially invited and apparently, royal staffers have been given instructions on what to do prior to their arrival.

Clearly, King Charles still wants his son and his daughter-in-law to be there despite all of the mudslinging they have done in their Netflix docuseries and in Harry’s book, Spare.

So, could it be that Harry and Meghan have pushed King Charles enough that they’ve not only proven their point about the royal family but are now finally being treated like the royals they believe they are?
