Royal expert and author Katie Nicholl wrote in her 2010 book, Harry and William, that Prince Charles’ eldest son and Camilla’s daughter certainly didn’t get along back in the day. She wrote at the time, “William and Laura used to have terrible fights over who was to blame for their broken homes. William would blame Camilla for all the hurt she had caused his mother, which would send Laura into a rage. Laura was not having any of it. She would take a hard line and fire back at William, ‘Your father has ruined my life.’”

While neither Prince William nor Laura Lopes have ever made any comments about the allegations, they also haven’t spent any time together, or at least in public. The last time William and Harry were seen with the Parker Bowles siblings was on Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles’ wedding day. While it has certainly been a part of Prince William and Prince Harry’s duties and obligations to make as many public appearances during their royal engagements over the years, both Laura Lopes and Tom Parker Bowles have kept rather low profiles.

And if her son is happy, then Queen Elizabeth, just as any other mother, has no reason to intervene.
