Celebs Don’t Want To Fraternise With Prince Harry And Meghan Any Longer

During a recent appearance at the Variety Power of Women event in Los Angeles, Meghan shared the happy news that she and Prince Harry will be announcing exciting new projects soon enough.

However, a Royal Family expert believes these projects will be nowhere near the same magnitude as the ones they were involved in shortly after their controversial exit.

It’s not a secret that Harry and Meghan have their eyes set on establishing themselves as a global brand, and they’ve done quite a few things to ensure them of that: Oprah tell-all, Apple TV+ series, a podcast, a Netflix docuseries, interviews and more interviews.

It’s also not a secret that things are no longer sailing as smoothly as it had been when they first made California their base and signed a number of multi-million dollar deals. Since then, they’ve had their projects dropped and cancelled and neglected.

So With Most Of The Dazzle Almost Gone, Can The Couple Continue To Maintain Their Relevance Enough To Keep Supercharging Their Brand?

Royal commentator Louise Roberts think not. She told Sky News Australia: “They were really riding on a wave of self-righteousness when they arrived in Los Angeles and they figured that all their celebrity friends would buffer them and continue to pay homage to them.

But that fact is if you’ve got access to the legitimate top tier working royals, why would you fraternise with a couple in exile?”

She added: “Their power seems to seep away day by day.”

This is coming just as Meghan teased that she has a slate of new projects coming. “We have so many exciting things on the slate. I can’t wait until we can announce them, but I’m just really proud of what we’re creating,” she told Variety.

At the current moment, Harry and Meghan are being compared to Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, both of whom were of massive interest to the public when they departed the UK, before that interest gradually died down to nought.
