Could Terrorist Bounty Hunters Track Down Prince Harry Now That He Is Out Of Royal Protection?

How crazy is it that Prince Harry might be vulnerable to a terror attack? Well, some might call it a terror attack, and others might call it collecting a bounty. That’s because, as wild as it sounds, Prince Harry used to be a British soldier who fought in Afghanistan. After his tour of duty, Prince Harry foolishly bragged publicly about “taking out” insurgents. Whether those “insurgents” were Taliban or Al Qaeda fighters isn’t clear. What is clear, is the fact that multiple security experts criticized Prince Harry heavily for drawing unneeded attention to himself in the manner that he did.

With that said, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have to be worried at this point. Moving out of the U.K, and no longer living in a British Commonwealth has its downside. One of those is the fact that, although Harry and Meghan might still be able to live in a $15 Million mansion plus in Malibu, California, the Crown will no longer foot the bill for their combined security.

That could be a bad thing since both the Taliban and Al Qaeda are known to have put out bounties on foreign soldiers. For example, back in 2010 (yes, it’s ten years ago, but still) the Taliban put out a £1,600 bounty for each Nato soldier killed. At the time, that included 41 British troops. Just for British troops alone, that comes to £65,600 collected by “insurgents.” One might imagine that for a British prince like Harry, some terrorist group or another might be willing to pony up quite a larger sum.

Some might believe that targeting Prince Harry could be seen as some type of laurel on the crown of any terrorist bounty hunter that chose to hunt Harry down. Then again, it’s not only Taliban and Al Qaeda terrorists Meghan and Prince Harry must worry about. For example, in 2019 teenage neo-Nazis targeted Prince Harry online, encouraging his murder. These losers threw up posters on social media, which depicted Prince Harry with a gun to his head and blood all over the place. The caption read, “See ya later, race traitor.”

Thus, royal watchers know that there is little doubt that there are indeed people in this world who wish harm to Prince Harry and possibly to his immediate family as well. Meghan could very well be quite worried for the life of her husband. (What loving wife wouldn’t be?)

Thankfully, while the American government won’t be footing the bill for Harry and Meghan’s security, Prince Charles may step in to help subsidize his younger son’s security.

Whether Meghan Markle is able to earn enough on her own as an actress and American celebrity, or if Harry might be able to pull in enough revenue through speaking engagements, through his own business efforts, etc. or through working with charities remains to be seen.

One thing is certain, however. Fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex must be hoping that Prince Harry and Meghan’s security issues are worked out and soon. In all likelihood, Meghan and Harry want that more than anyone else!
