Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had quite a busy summer. In fact, it was so busy that they didn’t have enough time in their schedules to visit with Queen Elizabeth at her summer estate, Balmoral Castle in Scotland. In fact, there are some royal observers who even think that there’s a very good reason why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to snub the Queen this summer. Here’s what you need to know.

Did Harry and Meghan Snub the Queen?

Earlier this year it was reported that the Queen was looking forward to seeing Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their young son Archie Harrison during her stay in Scotland. She was even supposed to spend a little time with Meghan as this would be her first visit to the castle. But unfortunately, that never happened. Instead of traveling to Scotland, the Sussexes decided to go to Ibiza to celebrate Meghan’s 38th birthday. A week later they then took a private jet to visit Elton John at his home in the South of France.

Many royal fans and critics are surprised that the Sussexes have supposedly snubbed the queen. That’s because members of the royal family often like to visit Balmoral, especially when the Queen is there. It’s the one time during the year that the Queen of England gets to spend one-on-one time with many of the different family members who travel up to see her. Prince William and Kate Middleton even visited Balmoral with their three children in early August as well.

Is There Another Feud Going On?

While no one knows what is going on behind the scenes, royal fans are certainly taking their guesses. Of course, everyone knows that there’s an alleged feud between Prince Harry and his older brother Prince William. It would make sense for Harry to try and avoid William and his family, especially if he knows that they were going to be at Balmoral. But why didn’t Harry and Meghan visit the Queen after the Cambridges left to go back home to London? That’s what everyone wants to know!

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the Sussexes and their summer travel.
