The Earthshot Prize is the “most prestigious” environmental awards in the world, and its second annual ceremony in Boston is one for the books.
Members of the British monarchy, the president of the United States, actors, popstars and other notable stars and public figures showed up in Boston ahead of the awards night.
In fact, it got too much buzz that it gained its own title, “the new Oscars”.
The Stars At the Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony In Boston
The Prince and Princess of Wales, and of course, a lot of Hollywood A-listers and public figures walked the green carpet on Friday, Dec. 2 at MGM Music Hall in Boston.
As always, Catherine did not disappoint her fans and stepped out in a floor-length bright green gown by Solace London, which she rented from HURR website for $100. But what stole the show was the million-dollar emerald choker once worn by the late Princess Diana, which fans have speedily nicknamed “the revenge choker”.
The awards night marked the end of a very busy few days for the royal couple.
Other stars gracing the green carpet this year include former Football star David Beckham – whose arrival was a complete surprise – singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding, Billie Eilish, Chloe x Halle, Annie Lennox, actor Rami Malek, and so many others.
The ceremony awarded five innovative ideas $1.2 million in each of the five categories: Protect and Restore Nature, Clean our Air, Revive our Oceans, Build a Waste-free World and Fix our Climate.
Before the ceremony, Prince William met the US President Joe Biden at the JFK Library, where he was greeted by Ambassador Kennedy, her children, Tatiana and Jack Schlossberg, and her husband, Edwin Schlossberg.

As a passion project for William, the 40-year-old gave an impassioned speech about hope for the restoration of our planet.
“I believe that the Earthshot solutions you have seen this evening prove we can overcome our planet’s greatest challenges. And by supporting and scaling them, we can change our future.”
He added: “Alongside tonight’s winners and finalists, and those to be discovered over the years to come, it’s my hope the Earthshot legacy will continue to grow, helping our communities and our planet to thrive.”
