British royal family news shows the low to which Meghan Markle has sunk after deserting the royal family, aka her in-laws: giving a speech at a Marriott in Indianapolis in the dead of winter. Still, the event was quite a coup for the great flyover state of Indiana?

Royal Family News – Meghan In Indiana Why

The event was highly anticipated in Indianapolis with the Indy Star touting Meghan’s appearance months ago: “The Power of Women: An Evening with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex will include an interview conducted by Rabbi Sandy Sasso, the first woman rabbi ordained by the Reconstructionist Judiasm movement. She previously led Congregation Beth-El Zedeck in Indianapolis.”

“The duchess, formerly known as Meghan Markle, and her husband withdrew from British royal family duties and moved to California in 2020 with their two young children. In addition to various philanthropic involvements, she is an actress, author and podcast host.” Exactly.

Social media called out the event with one writing, “No! Not a PR win for the Sussex! She’s at a hotel in the parking lot of the airport for Christmas sakes,” and another person posting, “Woman of power yet needs to use a title to get any attention, a title given to her by her husband’s family who she has tried to vilify and damage just as she has destroyed her own family.”

The so-called “power of women” event was billed as, “The Power of Women: An Evening with Meghan.” Don’t they mean the woman formerly known as Meghan? The event happened just as the real royals William and Kate head off to the US to meet with actual power Joe Biden.

Another poster noted that Meghan’s power event coincided with, “the Royal Visit. Just do not want to be upstaged do they?”

Unfortunately guests, “were banned from taking any pictures,” but Meghan’s faithful friend Omid Scobie tweeted lots, including tables with framed pics of, who else, Megs.

From America, Prince William today has had to speak about an event in which his godmother, Lady Hussey was accused of racism. Hussey has, “stepped down from the royal household after she allegedly refused to believe a black domestic abuse campaigner was British and asked her: ‘What part of Africa are you from?”
