Hollywood Actress Goes On The Record To Defend King Charles

We are definitely not talking about Meghan Markle here. Instead, Hollywood actress Joanna Lumley has gone on the record to defend King Charles from his critics.

Lumley, who was best known for her role as Patsy in the hit comedy Absolutely Fabulous, says that King Charles has not “put a foot wrong” and that he’e doing his best as the new King of England. Here’s what you need to know.

Lumley opened up about King Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles in a new interview with GB News.

She says that it’s high time that their critics backed off as they are doing their best as the King and Queen of England. She also called Charles the best Prince of Wales that the country has ever seen. 

Lumley put it this way, “I think completely wonderful. I think he was the best Prince of Wales this country has ever seen. And if that’s not training as an understudy to be a King, I can’t think what is.”

The actress continued, “So I think he hasn’t, to use the old phrase, he hasn’t put a foot wrong, and I’m so pleased that it’s all going well for him. It’s wonderful to see Queen Camilla by his side and just there’s such joy and love where they go and they bring such concern for people. I think that’s quite often overlooked, how caring they are for what we would call the ordinary man.”

Royal Family News: Joanna Lumley Says King Charles Has Had Lots of Training

Lumley has always been a close friend of King Charles and was even a guest of honor at his coronation, which makes it no surprise for fans that she would have nothing but great things to say about him. 

Now, as far as the other Hollywood actress in the royal family’s life, Meghan Markle, it’s been a long time since she’s had anything to say about the King of England.

In fact, Meghan wasn’t even at the coronation earlier this year as she didn’t want to take the spotlight off King Charles.
