It looks like any dreams that Meghan Markle had about breaking into Hollywood again have been crushed.

That’s because there’s a new report that suggests the entertainment industry wants absolutely nothing to do with Meghan or her husband Harry as no one wants to jeopardize a lot of money in order to ‘soothe’ their royal egos. Here’s what you need to know.

Has the Duchess of Sussex become persona non grata in her own backyard? Well, maybe. It seems as though everyone is keeping their distance from Meghan Markle just because they her, her now D-list status, and all of the drama that she managed to stir between Prince Harry and herself and the rest of the royal family back in London.

One source close to the situation even said that the likes of Steven Spielberg, Julia Louise-Dreyfus and Rob Lowe have all been shunning the Duke and Duchess of Sussex just because they still want to stay in the good graces of the royal family in the UK.

The insider put it this way, “Everyone’s got a movie to sell and a Broadway play they want to debut on screen in London or [London’s] West End and they know that Prince William and Kate — who are the biggest [celebrity] gets over there won’t show if they think someone is friends with Harry and Meghan.”

What’s Next For Meghan Markle?

The tipster added, “My sources tell me it’s all about the money. And the big power players in Hollywood aren’t jeopardizing their business for Harry and Meghan.”

Yikes. So far Mehgan Markle herself has not made any comments about the matter. But at the same time, she hasn’t really been rubbing elbows with any of Hollywood’s elite, either. Now, whether or not Meghan does manage to get herself a project in Hollywood remains to be seen but for now it seems rather unlikely.
