As a matter of fact, very few people noticed that the Duchess of Cambridge has once again defied royal protocol, even though she was already given a warning by the Queen of England to stay aligned with the royal rules. Here’s what you need to know.

Many eagle-eyed royal fans noticed that Kate Middleton wore a $2,200 polka-dot dress from Alessandra Rich during a recent royal engagement to Bletchley Park this past week. And while there’s nothing wrong with the dress, it’s the sheer fabric and the long slit in the front that has managed to raise a few eyebrows.

Kate Middleton’s Dress Was Caught Up In The Wind Once Again

That’s because Kate Middleton’s dress was once again caught in the wind, giving some royal fans more than what they bargained for. The fact that parts of the dress were also sheer sure didn’t help either.

Unfortunately, that’s not the only royal rule that Kate Middleton managed to break in just one outing. She really went the distance by deciding not to wear nude stockings with her dress, too. Sources close to Buckingham Palace say that wearing stockings is the “only steadfast rule in terms of what the Queen requires.”

And while Meghan Markle can get away with breaking a royal rule from time to time, the same can’t be said about Kate Middleton. That’s because as the future Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth expects her to abide by all of her rules.

As Future Queen There Is A Whole Other Set Of Rules And Restrictions

“Kate Middleton has a whole other set of rules and restrictions because she’s going to be Queen,” explains celebrity journalist Ashley Pearson.

“She and Meghan are not on the same page. Kate Middleton has to wear her skirts at a certain length. The Queen is regularly, allegedly, giving notes if she doesn’t like a certain hem or a certain outfit on Kate, or certain color tights.”
