Kate Middleton Infantilized By The British Press

Kate Middleton is being infantilized by the British press. At least that’s what one royal expert believes. Apparently, the Princess of Wales can do no wrong in the eyes of the British tabloid media, which some people believe is beginning to find quite boring. Omid Scobie, who is currently promoting his new book about the royal family, Endgame, says that Kate Middleton is treated like she cannot do anything wrong by the British press. Even the littlest things that she does are treated like they are the greatest achievements.

Of course, the same can’t be said about her sister-in-law Meghan Markle, who is often treated like the royal villain by the same journalists who report on Kate Middleton with nothing but glowing remarks and reports.

Speaking to the Sunday Times about the matter, Scobie said, “In the coverage of Kate we infantilize her massively so the bar is always lower.

The small achievements that we’ve seen from the Princess of Wales wouldn’t perhaps be noticed if it was from another member of the royal family, but with Kate it’s like ‘wow!’”

If that weren’t enough, Scobie also said that the British monarchy is currently gripped in a crisis that might be of its own making.

He put it this way, “That crisis being a lack of interest from young people, an apathy, a growing republican movement, questions over whether the family still uphold the morals and values of the crown that the queen did such a great job of. But when you look at the cast of characters … it has been questionable.”

So far the royals have not made any comments about Scobie’s book, but it’s doubtful that anything will be said.

The royal family also did not make one comment about Prince Harry’s book, Spare, even though the prince had basically thrown everyone under the bus in it. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is more juicy royal drama to come.
