Kate Middleton is absolutely terrified of her uncle Gary Goldsmith’s upcoming memoir about the royal family, along with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Actually, make that the Princess of Wales and the rest of the world, too. Apparently, Gary has already finished the first draft of his book but if it were up to Kate herself, she would make sure that the memoir will never be published. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to GB News, one source close to the situation says that the Princess of Wales would rather not have her wayward uncle make any more headlines than he already has.

The Middletons have not had the best year on record with Carole and Michael Middleton losing their Party Pieces business and for Gary to write a book would just make things significantly worse. That’s because of all the media attention he’ll most likely get.

One insider even put it this way, “There are disclosures they would never forgive him for if they were ever to be made public. William and Kate are trying to avoid that at all costs. They don’t want a book to fan the flames which could set Harry off again.”

Not only that, but it seems like Carole Middleton is also putting her foot down with her brother.

The tipster also added, “Carole has made it very clear that there should be no private family business written about.

Kate is afraid that it could provoke Harry into writing another book. Gary has already finished the first draft and a number of publishers have shown interest, but he knows it won’t get as much pickup if it’s only about him.”
