King Charles Clashes With Kate Middleton’s Parents: Here’s Why!

Royal family news and updates reveal that King Charles has clashed with Kate Middleton’s parents. And Queen Camilla has joined Charles in the feud that involves Kate’s and Prince William’s children.

King Charles Has ‘Tension’ With Kate Middleton’s Parents

A new report via Woman & Home reveals that “tension” exists between Kate Middleton’s parents, Carole and Michael, and Prince William’s father, King Charles.

And Queen Camilla definitely sides with Charles. Because Carole and Michael play a key role in their grandchildren’s lives, the King and Queen don’t approve of their influence.

And royal experts Jennie Bond, Tom Quinn, and Richard Kay agreed that they all noted signs of tension between Kate’s parents and the royal family.

For instance, Quinn has noted that the Middleton family influences their grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis more than the royal family.

And Quinn admitted, “I suspect everyone thinks that in terms of the children, the royal family will inevitably have the most influence. But that is entirely wrong,” he added. “It will be the Middletons that have the influence.”

Royal Family Accused Of Becoming ‘Too Stuck In Its Ways’

As a result of the royal family’s “too formal” manners, Quinn feels that George, Charlotte, and Louis have become closer to Kate’s parents.

And he added, “The royal family is too formal, it’s too stuck in its ways.” But royal expert Jennie Bond warned that the children’s closeness to Carole and Michael has caused stress for King Charles and Queen Camilla.

“I suppose there is a little tension at times between who gets to see the grandkids the most,” said Bond.

And she noted that “Kate will always turn to Carole for help, advice guidance, and just get together and romping around with the kids.”

Bond also observed that Kate relies on her mother rather than Camilla and Charles.

And Richard Kay revealed how Prince William feels about the tension. “Prince William has said, ‘Look I am not always going to be available for the royal family, I have another family and that is Mike and Carole Middleton.” And Kay shared that William has described his children’s relationship with Kate’s parents as “very important to me and Kate and my children.”

However, Carole Middleton also helped Kate during her pregnancy. When Kate suffered from morning sickness, Carole tended to her while caring for George.

And royal expert Katie Nicholl shared that Carole also supports Kate and William now. “One of the things that allow William and Kate to be so ordinary is the presence of the Middletons in their lives. [Carole] turns up to help with bedtime and bath time. She is absolutely indispensable,” summed up Katie.
