King Charles ‘Delighted’ That Prince Harry Attended The Coronation

Forget all of those reports that suggest the British Royal Family weren’t paying attention to Prince Harry when he arrived for the coronation in London last week. Because if there was one person who was certainly very happy to see him there, it was the Duke of Sussex’s father, King Charles.

In fact, there’s a new report that says King Charles was “delighted” with the fact that his son made such a huge effort to attend his coronation, despite all of the circumstances and ongoing feud between him and members of the royal family. Here’s what you need to know.

Apparently, a former press secretary for both King Charles and his two sons said that the king was “delighted” that Harry was there, adding, “He would have personally regretted it if he wasn’t there to support his father. Speaking as a mother, [I believe] it was the right thing . . . and the King [was] delighted.”

The insider added, “He will look back on it and think it is better to come and play his part and say, ‘I saw my father crowned.’ And tell his children about it.”

Yet, a lot of royal fans also believe it’s just too bad that Prince Harry’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, weren’t there for the historic day, too. As many royal fans know by now, Meghan Markle decided to skip out on the coronation and stay home with their children.

Apparently, she didn’t want to steal the spotlight away from King Charles as she knew that everyone would have focused on her along with what she would be doing and what she would be wearing on that day.

What’s Next For Harry And Meghan?

So far Prince Harry himself has not made any comments about the coronation. The day after he arrived back home from London, Meghan was spotted going on a hike nearby their home with some of her close friends. Unfortunately, Harry was not with her. Clearly, he needed a lot of rest from his whirlwind of a trip to the UK.
