For Meghan Markle, it seems like her estranged sister Samatha Markle is like an itch that you just can’t scratch away. British Royal News says that the Duchess of Sussex is facing major public humiliation as Samantha is threatening to destroy the Sussex brand.

In fact, Samantha’s defamation lawsuit against Meghan is trying to prove that she has made “false and malicious” statements about her as well as about her own personal life, too. Here’s what you need to know.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield believes that Harry and Meghan’s future is right now in the hands of Samantha Markle, for better or for worse. If Samantha can prove that Meghan has lied about some of the details about her childhood, then there’s a good chance that she’ll be caught out on more lies, too.

Schofield says, “If Samantha can prove that Meghan branded her, on a global scale, a liar and an unfit parent, and it negatively affected her way of life and income, a judge might allow the case to go to a jury. It would be embarrassing for Meghan because Samantha would likely make it a circus.”

If that weren’t enough, Samantha wants her day in court, too, as she apparently is looking forward to asking Harry and Meghan questions about some of the claims they made suggesting that the royal family was racist back in 2021.

Schofield explained, “Sam is already saying she wants to ask Harry and Meghan in a deposition whether or not the Royal Family is racist. Kind of irrelevant to her court claims, but this is the type of thing we would see if the case moves forward. Most people watching this case have suggested Meghan settle with the mediator to ensure no depositions take place and to save the Duke and Duchess any further humiliation.“
