Meghan Markle Past Marriage Raises Questions About Prince Harry

Meghan Markle had a past relationship with her ex-husband Trevor Engelson, and a royal expert suggested that her previous marriage gives some insight into her current drama with the royal family. Read on to find out more.

Royal commentator Neil Sean discussed Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and King Charles during his Daily News Headlines vlog on YouTube on Tuesday night.

He claimed people who knew Trevor say Meghan “ostracized” him before ending their marriage.

Some people believe Meghan had a “long-term plan” well before she mailed her wedding band back to Trevor.

Sean said people who knew Trevor described him as a “nice guy” who wanted a normal life. Meghan eventually cut him off completely.

The royal expert pointed out that she treated her own dad, Thomas Markle, in a similar fashion. Sean also claimed Thomas Markle was “banned from taking photos at Meghan’s wedding.”

Harry Aligns with His Wife?

Turning to Prince Harry, Neil gave some of his own opinions about how Meghan and Harry’s desires aligned.

In his opinion, Harry acted like a “lost ship” who wanted all the benefits of royal life “without the work.” He enjoyed escaping to Africa with girlfriends and wanted to dip in and out of official duties.

Sean said some people believe Meghan simply accelerated Harry’s detachment from the royal household.

Family Trauma Made Public

The vlog also touched on Harry’s public media projects. Sean claimed that while Meghan rarely discusses her personal life in public, she was happy for Harry to discuss his own family trauma on camera.

During his work on mental health projects, Harry kept topics regarding Catherine and William strictly off limits, according to Sean.

The Quick Return

According to Sean’s sources, Harry and Meghan’s visit to Highgrove created confusion within the royal family. Plus, senior royals weren’t expecting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to return so quickly.

Sean claimed people in Montecito told him something had accelerated the couple’s timetable for a return to the UK.

Charles and William

King Charles and Prince William haven’t come out clapping and dancing about the return of Prince Harry and instead, seem to maintain their distance. Sean says the King “has taken advice from William.”

And so, Sean imagined that Harry sits at home with his kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, hoping for calls from the senior royals. Of course, we can’t know that he really does hanker for a call, but it’s easy enough for people to imagine it happening.

Sean reminded his viewers that King Charles chooses to protect the monarchy above all else, following the strict example set by the late Queen. And that’s why Prince Harry faces total “radio silence” from the royal family as they move forward with official state business without him.
