Royal Family Plans BIG Ceremony For Unveiling Of Princess Diana Statute

Most members of the royal family are expected to attend the unveiling of the statue of Princess Diana. The ceremony will take place on July 1, marking what would have been Diana’s 60th birthday. 

Prince Harry and Prince William originally commissioned the statue in 2017 to honor their mother. The brothers were only 12 and 15 when Diana tragically died. 

The Sunken Gardens at Kensington Palace ranked top on Diana’s favorite places, and the statue will reside there. Both Prince Harry and Prince William will give speeches at the unveiling.

In addition to the brothers, royal family members expected to attend include Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth. Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer, will support his nephews at the unveiling. Kate’s and William’s adorable children may also attend.

Meghan Markle To Secretly Travel To UK To Support Harry Despite New Baby And Feud?!

Notably absent from most lists of expected participants in the royal ceremony honoring Princess Diana? Meghan Markle.

But Prince Harry’s wife has not just one but TWO excellent excuses! First, Meghan recently welcomed her first daughter into the world. Markle has focused on caring for her baby Lilibut Diana.

And as usual, Meghan also found herself in the center of yet another royal controversy. This one even resulted in legal threats over claims that Markle and Harry didn’t check with the Queen about using her name for their child.

The combination of a new baby plus her son Archie plus the feud would seem to add up to reasons for Meghan to stay in California. But a new report claims that Markle instead will serve as a secret guest at the ceremony! 

Meghan remembers how Prince Harry suffered when he traveled alone recently for Prince Philip’s funeral, an insider told Radar Online.  As a result, the Duchess Of Sussex may join Harry at the ceremony.

“Meghan knows how hard it was to attend his grandfather’s funeral alone and doesn’t want that to happen again. Harry was given the cold shoulder by most of his relatives, with several refusing to talk to him or even make eye contact,” explained the source.

In addition, the royal insider pointed out that the feud has become worse rather than better since the funeral because of the baby name brouhaha. That situation hints at trouble in royal paradise for Harry.

And with Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly set to dominate the ceremony honoring Harry’s mother, Meghan reportedly wants to support her husband. She might even take Archie with her, leaving the baby with a nanny or perhaps her mother.
