Meghan Markle’s Father Thomas Markle Might Never Meet His Grandchild

It looks like Thomas Markle Senior has finally given up on trying to repair his broken relationship with his daughter, Meghan Markle. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that says the former daytime television lighting director is now living a very quiet life at home in Mexico, as apparently, he doesn’t want to be bothered with all of the media drama that has gone on for the past year. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the Daily Mail, Thomas has been living his day-to-day life and hasn’t said much about Meghan, Prince Harry or the impending arrival of their new bundle of joy. Even though he’s said in the past that he would love to be a part of the young child’s life, it appears as though he might have given up on that fight.
Just recently, Thomas was spotted picking up brunch for himself outside of his home in Rosarito, Mexico. One onlooker told The Daily Mail, “He didn’t mention Meghan at all. It’s hard to know if he is excited about the birth of his new grandchild or not. He just came in, ordered his food and left. He seems to have lost a bit of weight and looks healthier than he used to.”

Meanwhile, reports indicate that Meghan will have a hospital on standby in case she needs to get to a private hospital in London, should she have any pregnancy complications. Sources believe that she will give birth at Portland Hospital, which is the same place that the Duchess of York gave birth to her children.
So far Meghan herself has not made any comments about the ongoing feud with her father or the rest of her family for that matter. The Duchess of Sussex is currently on her maternity leave and is not expected to make any public appearances until after she gives birth to her baby. Now, whether or not her father will ever meet the royal tot remains to be seen. Here’s hoping that Meghan and Thomas will be able to find peace, in one way or another.

He can thank himself and his other daughter, Samantha, for this sorry state of affairs. Had he and Samantha been discreet like Meghan’s mother and not sold out to the tabloids, things would be quite different now. Though the breakdown of any family ties is always tragic, Meghan is correct in keeping her distance from these inept, cheap money grubbers.
