Prince Charles Is Not Thinking About Becoming King of England, Says Royal Filmmaker

In an interview with Fox News, Nick Bullen, the executive producer of programs about the British Royal Family, said that becoming England’s future king is the last thing on the mind of Prince Charles.

In the 20 years that he’s spent making videos about the royal family, he has worked closely with the prince for eight years. Bullen, who’s also the head of TrueRoyalty.tv, is currently working on filming Charles’ 70th birthday celebration for ITV’s documentary, “We Are Most Amused and Amazed.”

Bullen added that Prince Charles is more focused on his current role as the Prince of Wales and does his job willingly and really well. Although he knows he will be king one day, he does not give much thought to it, especially since it will happen once her mother passes away.

Bullen also said that Prince Charles has come a long way in terms of his popularity among the public. In the ‘70s, the British heir was an eligible bachelor. He got married to a schoolteacher, Diana, in 1981, and had two handsome sons. But their marriage wasn’t like any other. They had a rough married life, which led to a four-year separation and eventually a divorce. Things took a turn for the worse for the Royal family when Princess Diana died in a car crash. The entire world mourned her death and the press just had to have a villain in their love story. During that time, it was Prince Charles and his ex-girlfriend Camilla Parker Bowles.

Despite all these and the pain he had to go through after the passing of his wife, Prince Charles maintained his quiet and calm approach. Decades have passed and wounds have healed, Prince Charles is now happily married to Bowles, whom he refers to as his “darling wife.”

He has welcomed new members to the Royal family, Kate Middleton, who got married to Prince William, and Meghan Markle, who recently got married to Prince Harry.
