He might be the future King of England, but it looks like this little tot is really, really, really into soccer. In fact, the world couldn’t help but chuckle when they say little Prince George getting very excited at a recent Aston Villa soccer game.

The young royal took in his first game alongside his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Princess Charlotte was also there but it was her brother that stole the spotlight. Here’s what you need to know.

As many royal fans know, Prince William has always been a lifelong Aston Villa fan and now it looks like little George is one, too. As a matter of fact, he might even be a bigger fan than his father! The camera zoomed in on George while he was in the stands with his family.

Prince William Told Prince George To Calm Down And He Clapped Louder

George showed off his spirit and cheered on his favorite team by clapping and cheering as proudly as he could throughout the game. Aston Villa ended up winning the match 5-1.

At one point, Prince William looked visibly embarrassed, perhaps knowing that the camera was zooming in on them. When he told his son to calm down, that just provoked George to really get in on the celebrations and shout and clap even louder. It’s a video that has to be seen to believe! Who knew George was this passionate about footie?

Meanwhile, Prince George is making it no secret that he absolutely loves the sport of soccer. He reportedly had a soccer-themed sixth birthday party with his friends in July.

Also, he wore an official England national team jersey for his official birthday portrait this year, too. If that weren’t enough, George was spotted kicking a soccer ball with his sister during a polo match over the summer.

So could this mean that Prince George might turn out to be the first royal who will become a professional soccer player one day? Perhaps.
